Beloved of All
Anyone who wants to despoil or rob me of my destiny, my blessings,a father's blessings, glory, prophecies, marriage, and anything that God has given me or has planned for me, and who is using spiritual legalities and technicalities to try to do it, by the blood of Christ, let their claims be invalidated. And if they do not restore what they have claimed from my life or upon which they have placed their rods, let what they have planned against me be overturned upon themselves according to the curse. But let the Lord remember His name and sanctify it. How long will I eat at another's table or be in want and in need despite all that He has planned for me and all that His Word has said, so that people are using such underhanded means against me? Let Him do it for His own sake, what I have asked Him to do for me, because I have a right to those things according to His grace. Amen.

We join with you in prayer before our Father in Jesus' name and we hear the deep longing in your heart for God's promises and blessings to be fulfilled in your life without hindrance. We understand the feeling of being despoiled or held back by unseen opposition and by others seeking to claim what God has appointed for you, and we stand with you to seek the Lord's protection and provision.

We are reminded from Scripture that our security is in Christ alone and that no scheme of man or of the enemy can ultimately overturn God's purpose for those who are His. The Word tells us that He wiped out the handwriting in ordinances which was against us, has taken it out of the way, nailing it to the cross, having stripped the principalities and the powers, making a show of them openly, triumphing over them in Christ Colossians 2:14-15. We also cling to the promise that every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ has already been given to us Ephesians 1:3 and that no weapon that is formed against us will prevail Isaiah 54:17 and that surely there is no enchantment with Jacob, neither is there any divination with Israel Numbers 23:23. If God is for us, who can be against us Romans 8:31 and we are persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing will be able to separate us from God's love which is in Christ Jesus our Lord Romans 8:38-39.

We also want to gently encourage you regarding the desire for what has been planned against you to be overturned upon those who have done it according to the curse. Our hearts understand the cry for justice, yet Scripture calls us to leave vengeance in the hands of God and to seek His mercy even for those who oppose us. Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord Romans 12:19 and we are told to bless those who curse you, and pray for those who mistreat you Luke 6:28. We do not pray for harm to come upon others, but we do pray that every unjust claim, every spiritual technicality, and every rod laid upon your life would be broken and invalidated by the blood of Christ, which cleanses us from all sin 1 John 1:7, and that God in His righteousness would restore what has been taken and cause His justice to prevail while also drawing all involved to repentance.

You asked how long you will eat at another's table and be in want despite all that His Word has said, and you asked that the Lord would remember His name and sanctify it and act for His own sake. This is a biblical prayer, for God says I don't do this for your sake, house of Israel, but for my holy name Ezekiel 36:22. We take comfort that Yahweh is our shepherd; we shall not want Psalm 23:1 and that our God will supply every need of ours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19. His thoughts toward us are good, for we know the thoughts that He thinks toward us, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give us hope and a future Jeremiah 29:11. When we delight ourselves in Yahweh, He will give us the desires of our heart Psalm 37:4. This includes your desire for marriage, and we pray with you for a godly marriage as God designed it, a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman that honors Him, pursued through courtship with a fellow believer with the goal of marriage and kept pure from fornication, for that is His will for our good.

We pray together now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, and we thank You for Your grace by which we have any inheritance at all, not because we have earned it but because You have freely given it in Your Son. We ask that by the blood of Christ every legal claim, accusation, and technicality raised against this dear one concerning destiny, blessings, glory, prophecies, marriage, and every good thing You have planned be completely invalidated and nailed to the cross. We ask that You break every rod placed upon their life and render powerless every effort to rob them. Lord, for Your name's sake, sanctify Your name in their life and show Yourself faithful to Your Word. Provide for them from Your own table, lift them from want and need, and restore what has been withheld or delayed, according to Your perfect will and timing. Guard their heart from bitterness and teach them to trust You as their vindicator and provider, to walk in obedience and holiness, and to wait upon You. We pray for a godly spouse for marriage if it is Your will, that it would be formed in purity and centered on Christ. Let no plan of the enemy prosper, and let Your glory be seen in their life so that others may know that You are God. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who alone is our access to the Father and our salvation, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. Amen.

We hear how long you have been carrying this, and how weary it is to feel in want while you are holding onto what God has promised. Wanting to see your destiny, your future marriage, and the good gifts God has for you protected and restored is a deeply human longing, and we join you in bringing it to the Lord.

It makes sense that language about legalities and claims and rods feels so pressing when you feel others have tried to take what is yours. We want to gently remind you that your security does not rest on finding the perfect spiritual argument, but on Christ Himself. His blood is sufficient, and God is not bound by technicalities. You do not have to fight to prove your right to His grace. You can rest and leave both justice and provision in His faithful hands, trusting Him to do what is right and to sanctify His own name in your life.

One step that may help lighten this burden is to not carry it alone. Consider sharing this prayer consistently with one trusted pastor or mature believer who can pray with you in person and help you keep your focus on Christ's nearness rather than on what others may intend.

Father, we lift our brother before You. You know his needs, his waiting, and his desire for the blessings You have planned. Cover him with the blood of Christ, guard what You have given him, provide for his daily needs, and give him peace and wisdom as he trusts You. Let him know Your nearness and Your care more and more each day. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your burden has been laid before the Lord and before His people, and we have heard the ache of a heart that feels despoiled and kept in want while waiting for the good that God has promised.

There is a place of refuge for such a soul, and the fear of the Lord does not drive you from Him but drives you to Him. As Israel had the blood marks over the door when the angel was abroad, so the blood of Jesus Christ His Son still cleanses us from all sin and is our only plea. Apart from Christ we are nothing, but in Christ we have all spiritual blessings, for we are members of His body, of His flesh and of His bones, and He has made us accepted in the Beloved. No claim of the adversary can stand against those who are in Him, for unto God belong the issues from death and from life, and He has set thrones of judgment to discern the thoughts and intents of the heart.

You speak of eating at another's table and being in want. Remember Mephibosheth, who though lame was made to sit daily at the King's table and to have a portion from him. So the Lord daily loadeth His people with benefits, not only benefits read of and heard of, but benefits received, the benefit of perfect pardon and of righteousness which covers us, the benefit of regeneration and of adoption. You have been a commoner upon the goodness of God all your life, and though you have known need, His mercy has riches in it and He delights to show it. Temporal mercies betoken the freeness of His bounty, but His special love is seen in deliverance from sin and from spiritual enemies.

You ask that the Lord would remember His name and sanctify it, and do it for His own sake. This is to pray well, for our prayers should not be according to the measure of our poor little heart that is so shriveled and weak, but according to God's great heart that is infinite and full of grace and love. He revealed to David that He took him from following the sheep and made him a great name, not for David's sake but for His own great purposes of grace, and that one descended from him should sit upon the throne forever, even Jesus Christ who is Master and King. So we may ask Him to sanctify His own name and to fulfill His covenant promises, for the man of faith is the heir of the promise and partaker of the covenant since he believes in Jesus whom God raised from the dead.

You speak of a right to these things according to grace. Let us be clear that we have no right in ourselves, for grace and peace come from God our Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ alone, and salvation is through Jesus Christ alone. Our right is only in Him, in being found in Him and blessed with all spiritual blessings in Him. Therefore we do not bargain with Christ as Judas did for pieces of silver, but we come as children with filial fear, lest we should do anything contrary to His mind and will, reverencing His presence and His character.

Concerning those who would harm you and use underhanded means against you, we leave vengeance with the Lord who judges righteously. We do not pray imprecations for evil to fall upon any man, but we pray that every unjust claim would be shown to be void at the cross, that the Lord would cut off the enemies that are spiritual and deliver you from evil propensities and from the world, the flesh and the devil which constantly assail us. If any have taken what is yours, we ask the Lord to restore as seems good to Him, for there is an exhaustless fullness in Him, and as the clouds fill again and empty again, so His grace will yet supply.

And concerning marriage, we pray as the Scripture teaches, that if the Lord gives it, it would be as He ordained from the beginning, a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, kept pure and honourable, for sex and living together belong within it alone. We ask Him to keep you from envy and discontent in want, and to sanctify abundance when He gives it, that you may know how to abound and how to be abased.

Let us pray together.

O Lord our God, who art the God of our salvation, we bless Thee who daily loadeth us with benefits. Look upon this soul who feels robbed and weary, and give refuge in the bosom of Christ. Let the blood of Christ speak better things over this life than any accusation. Make this one to know union with Christ and acceptance in the Beloved, and grant perfect pardon, regeneration and adoption. For Thine own name's sake, sanctify Thy name in this life and do as Thou hast promised, not because we are worthy, but because Thy heart is great. Provide daily bread, set a place at Thine own table, and keep from all evil. Teach to pray always, in brief wordless prayers as naturally as to breathe, and to live the life of faith until Thou callest home. Grant grace to fear Thee as a child fears a loved father, and to find confidence in Thee alone, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer has been heard and your pain is clear. To feel that what God has given or promised has been taken or blocked by others, and to feel long want while waiting for His provision, is a heavy burden, and it is right to bring it to the Lord.

Scripture teaches that the blood of Christ does indeed answer every true accusation against us. By His one offering He has perfected forever those who are being sanctified, and through Him we who were enemies have become sons and have received grace and peace from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. That grace is not a legal right we claim as a debt, but a free gift given in mercy, and it secures us before God when any voice accuses us. You can rest in that finished work rather than in spiritual technicalities or claims of others.

At the same time, the way we ask God to deal with those who wrong us matters. The Scriptures call us to leave vengeance in His hands and not to seek that evil be turned back upon others as a curse. We punish ourselves by hating others, and we benefit ourselves by loving them. To bear the spiteful acts of enemies meekly brings greater gain than to return it, first deliverance from sin, then patience, mildness, and freedom from anger and despondency. The Lord Himself sat down at the right hand of God expecting till His enemies be put under His feet, and He delays that final putting under for the sake of those who will yet believe. In the same way we are called to wait with trust, to follow peace with all people and to pursue holiness, and to pray even for those who oppose us that they might repent and be saved.

Marriage and every other good gift are honorable when received in the Lord's way, and God does provide for His children, often not at once as we wish, but according to His wisdom and for the sanctifying of His own name. Want and waiting are not signs that His Word has failed, but occasions to learn dependence and to attend upon the Lord without distraction.

So let us pray together in a way that honors Christ and seeks His will:

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, we thank You for grace and peace given through His blood. We ask You to sanctify Your name in this life and to show that You are merciful and true. Forgive sins and cover every accusation with the righteousness of Christ. Where there has been loss or injustice, bring restoration according to Your will and in Your time. Provide daily bread so that Your child need not live in want, and teach contentment and trust while waiting. Guard the heart from hatred or desire for revenge, and give strength to love and to pray for enemies, leaving judgment to You who judges righteously. Keep this life in holiness and peace, and keep marriage and all gifts within Your good design. Do for Your own sake what is best, and conform this heart to Your will. Amen.

Continue to seek Him in prayer, in the Scriptures, and in fellowship with faithful believers who can walk with you, and trust that He who reconciled us when we were enemies will not withhold any good thing that is truly for your good and His glory.
