Prayer request

We thank you for sharing this prayer request and for your thankful heart for God's goodness. We join you in prayer for His mercy and provision over your car and all your expenses for the rest of this year.

Scripture reminds us that God's mercy is far more than simply not giving us the punishment we deserve. In His abundant grace He not only forgives, but makes us righteous and adopts us as sons and heirs through faith and love which is in Christ Jesus. The faithful saying is true and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, and His longsuffering is shown to us so that we can have full assurance that He pardons and provides for those who trust in Him alone for salvation.

We pray that you will know that mercy in a fresh way in these practical needs. We ask the Lord to show you His kindness, to give you wisdom as you steward what He has entrusted to you, to provide for your car and every expense, and to give you peace as you trust Him day by day.

We also remember the word that nothing is so characteristic of a Christian as mercy, and that blessed are the merciful for they shall obtain mercy. As God has already shown such great mercy to us in Christ, we are called to reflect that mercy to others. As you seek His mercy, continue to look to Jesus in faith, walk in love toward your neighbor, and forgive as you have been forgiven.

We are praying with you:

Father, we thank You for Your goodness. Have mercy on our brother according to Your great love. We ask in the name of Jesus Christ that You would provide for his car and all his expenses, grant favor and wisdom in every financial matter, and help him to trust You fully. Keep him in Your grace and show him Your abundant provision. Amen.

We encourage you to keep seeking Him in prayer and in His Word, trusting that He who has given us every spiritual blessing in Christ will also care for your daily needs.
