Beloved of All
Dear Lord, thank you for your goodness. I pray for good rest, for my wife’s health for her, for protection for ###, for financial favor and a cost effective solution to my car issue, and against lustful thoughts

We join you in giving thanks to the Lord for His goodness, for His steadfast love endures forever and His mercies are new every morning. We are grateful for your heart to bring these needs before Him and we stand with you in prayer for each one.

We lift up your need for good rest. The Lord desires to give His beloved sleep and to restore our souls. It is vain for you to rise up early, to stay up late, eating the bread of toil, for he gives sleep to his loved ones. Psalm 127:2 and Jesus invites us, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28 We pray the Lord will quiet your mind and body at night and grant you deep, peaceful and restorative sleep. I will both lay me down and sleep in peace, for you, Yahweh, alone make me live in safety. Psalm 4:8

We also bring your wife before the Lord and ask for His healing hand and sustaining grace upon her. We thank God for your marriage, for marriage between a man and a woman is ordained by God as a lifelong covenant and is to be honored and cherished. We pray for her health, strength and wholeness. Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers. 3 John 1:2 The Lord has said, I am Yahweh who heals you. Exodus 15:26 We ask Him to strengthen her body, to guard her from illness, and to fill you both with peace as you trust Him together.

We pray for protection for your loved one you mentioned. We ask the Lord to be a shield around them. He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust. Psalm 91:1-2 and Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more. Psalm 121:7-8 We ask God to watch over them, to keep them from harm and to lead them in His ways.

We bring your financial needs and the car issue before our Father who knows all our needs. We do not seek riches for selfish gain but we trust Him to provide for what we need and to give wisdom for stewardship. My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19 We pray for financial favor, for wisdom as you seek a cost effective solution, and for the Lord to guide you to honest and fair help, and to provide the resources needed. Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed. Proverbs 16:3

We also want to address with love and truth your honest confession about lustful thoughts. God calls us to purity of heart and mind, and He takes this seriously because our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit and our thoughts shape our actions. Jesus said, everyone who gazes at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart. Matthew 5:28 Lust conceives sin when entertained, but God has made a way for us to walk in freedom. No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it. 1 Corinthians 10:13 We are called to bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ. 2 Corinthians 10:5 and to set our minds on what is true, honorable, just, pure and lovely. Whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is any praise, think about these things. Philippians 4:8 We encourage you to make a covenant with your eyes as Job did, to guard what you look at, to flee from temptation, to fill your mind with the Word, and to walk in accountability before the Lord. Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. 1 Corinthians 6:18 When we confess, He is faithful to cleanse us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9 We pray the Lord will create in you a clean heart and renew a right spirit within you. Psalm 51:10

We noticed your prayer was addressed to Dear Lord without mentioning the name of Jesus. We want to gently remind you that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 and There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12 It is because Jesus died for our sins and rose again that we can boldly approach God. If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9 We encourage you to always come in the precious name of Jesus, trusting fully in Him as Lord and Savior.

So together we pray, Father in heaven, we thank You for Your goodness and mercy. We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We ask You to grant our brother deep and peaceful rest, to heal and strengthen his wife, to place Your hedge of protection around his loved one, to provide financially and to open the door to an affordable and honest solution for his car. We ask You to cleanse his mind, to help him take every thought captive to Christ, to flee from lust and to walk in purity and holiness, honoring You and honoring his marriage covenant. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, with strength to resist temptation and with joy in Your presence. Forgive us where we have sinned and wash us in the blood of Jesus. We trust Your provision and Your love. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue to seek Him daily in prayer and in the Word, to rest in His promises, to love and cherish your wife, and to trust Him to provide and to keep you. The Lord is near to all who call on Him in truth and He will perfect that which concerns you.

We appreciate your honest and humble heart in bringing all of this to the Lord, your desire for rest, your care for your wife, the needs around your car and finances, and your desire to walk cleanly before God.

We hear how much you are carrying at once, and we are joining you in prayer for each of these. For your wife's health, for protection over your loved one, and for wisdom and favor as you look for a cost effective solution for your car, we are asking God to provide what is needed and to give you clear next steps.

For the struggle with lustful thoughts, you don't have to face it alone. What helps many men is steady, trusted accountability rather than trying to fight it in isolation. When you are clear headed and strong, decide ahead of time what you will do when temptation comes and remove what makes you vulnerable, so you are not making decisions in the moment. Consider inviting one faithful brother or mentor to check in with you regularly, someone you can be fully honest with. That kind of simple, consistent fellowship often brings a lot of freedom over time. Caring for basic needs like sleep and regular rest also matters, since exhaustion can make any temptation harder.

If your wife has ongoing health concerns, we encourage you to keep praying while also encouraging her to stay in touch with her doctor for good care.

Father, we thank You for this brother and his tender conscience before You. We ask You to grant him deep, peaceful rest, to watch over his wife and bring her strength and healing, to protect his loved one, and to open a wise and affordable path for his car and finances. Give him strength to turn from what tempts him and to walk in purity, with trusted support around him. Lead him day by day in Your grace. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your thanksgiving for the goodness of God is itself a good and precious thing, and we join with you in it, for low thoughts of God create doubts and bondage, but high thoughts of Him beget hope and confidence.

We have brought your petitions before the throne of grace and we pray with you thus.

We ask the Lord to give you that rest of which our Saviour speaks, Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. This is a present rest, not only a rest after death, but rest given when we come to Jesus, there and then. And we pray also that you may find that second rest, the rest of the learner who takes His yoke upon him. For true rest to the child of God is rest on the wing, rest in motion, rest in service, not with the yoke cast off, but with His yoke upon us, which is easy, and His burden which is light. May your mind be made like the mind of Christ, and so you shall find a deep rest, a growing rest, an abiding rest unto your soul. Trust and you shall rest.

We pray for your wife, that the Lord who healeth the broken in heart and bindeth up their wounds would lay His healing hand upon her. There is but one great Physician, and there is abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ, whose very leaves are for the healing of the nations. That same Fountain opened on Calvary still flows, and we ask that its virtue may keep her and restore her, for we are on our way to eternal health and He will perfect what His grace has begun.

We pray for protection for the one you have named and committed to the Lord. How precious are His thoughts unto us, how great is the sum of them. They are constant, kind, wise, tender and gracious thoughts toward His people. He perceives our thoughts and our ways, and His thoughts are higher than our thoughts as the heavens are higher than the earth. May holy thoughts of His precious thoughts place you and your loved one near to Him, and keep you still with Him waking and sleeping.

We pray also concerning your financial need and the trouble with your car, that the Lord would grant you favor and wisdom and a cost effective solution. He knows what you have need of before you ask, and His ways are not as our ways. As you seek first His kingdom, may He in His wise providence open a door that no man can shut and supply what is needed for your daily calling.

And we pray with you against lustful thoughts, for if our thoughts run one way and God's thoughts run in an opposite direction, we cannot have fellowship with Him. Our thoughts must be conformed to God's thoughts. We pray that you may be enabled to bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, learning of Him who is meek and lowly in heart. Look to the Lord Jesus Christ for all things, for He is alive and is our familiar Friend, and He is able to keep the heart in purity and to give the overcoming glance that overcomes both evil and the power of temptation. May you find rest from the inward war as you walk with Him.

May the Lord grant you pardon and healing together, for He forgives freely those who rest on Jesus, and where He forgives He heals, till we shall be without spot or wrinkle. Abide in Him, and He will keep you in perpetual health of soul world without end. We commend you and your house to His tender care. Amen.
