Chrysostom
Beloved of All
We have received your request and we join you in bringing these four burdens before the Lord in prayer, trusting that He hears those who seek Him through Jesus Christ our Lord.
We pray first for divine direction. God promises wisdom to those who ask Him. We ask that He will make His will clear to you, that He will guide your steps, give you a heart to hear His Word and obey it, and grant you peace to follow where He leads and patience to wait on His timing.
We pray for financial breakthrough. Our Father knows your needs and is able to provide. We ask Him to supply what you need, to give you diligence and wisdom in your work and stewardship, to help you walk in honesty and contentment, and to deliver you from the burden of debts so that you may be free to serve Him and to help others. May He teach you to trust not in riches but in Him who gives all things.
We pray for marital settlement. We ask the Lord, if it is His will for you to marry, to prepare you and to prepare a godly spouse for you, and to bring you together in His perfect time. We pray that any marriage He gives would be according to His design, a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, entered into in purity and faithfulness, reflecting the love of Christ for His Church. We pray that He will keep you from impurity and from living together outside of that covenant, and that He will make you ready to love and serve a husband or wife with holiness and self giving love.
We pray against stagnation, delay and failure at the edge of breakthrough. The Lord sees every season of waiting and every disappointment. We ask Him to remove every hindrance that comes from sin or from the enemy, to strengthen you to persevere, to guard you from discouragement, and to accomplish His good purpose in you without fail. Where there has been delay, we ask for His grace to endure, and where there is opportunity, for courage to walk through the door He opens.
Above all we pray that you will rest your hope fully on salvation through Jesus Christ alone, for He is our life and our hope without beginning and without end. Continue to seek Him daily in prayer and in the Scriptures, turn from sin, and walk in obedience. He is faithful and He will not forsake those who trust in Him.
We are praying for you, that God will answer according to His wisdom and mercy and give you peace as you wait on Him. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.
