Silas
Beloved of All
Thank you for sharing your burden so openly. I have prayed for you and I understand the weight you are carrying with this hearing, the frustration of having your evidence ignored and a false account put forward, and the anxiety about speaking clearly when the recording is running.
Scripture makes a distinction that is important for you right now. First there is peace with God, which only comes through the blood of Jesus Christ shed for our sins. Through His sacrifice He has made peace between us and God, so that the war is over and we are no longer running from Him or fighting against Him. When you have put your trust in Christ and received His forgiveness, you are at peace with God.
Then there is the peace of God, the steady keeping of your heart and mind in the midst of turmoil. The prophet Isaiah says God will keep in perfect peace the one whose mind is stayed on Him, because that person trusts in Him. Jesus said to His disciples, Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you, not as the world gives. And the apostle Peter speaks of a peace that passes all human understanding, a peace the world cannot explain. That peace is not dependent on favorable circumstances. It comes as you turn your thoughts toward the Lord and trust Him to take care of what you cannot control.
In a world filled with chaos and striving, that perfect peace is possible when your mind rests on Him rather than on fear, on what might be said, or on what others have done. As your mind stays on Him, His peace begins to fill your heart and keep you steadfast.
I am praying that you will know that keeping power in a deep way. That even while you feel nervous, your heart and mind would be guarded in Christ, so you can convey what is true calmly and clearly. God sees the evidence, He knows the truth about the arrears and the statements that have been made, and He hears you when you call on Him. Pray that He will give you clarity of thought and words, and that those listening will hear what is actually said.
I am also praying for your travel, that the Lord will grant you safety going and returning and give you wisdom in choosing the route to take, and for His provision regarding work. He knows your needs and He has thoughts of peace toward His children, desiring to bring you to an expected end as you call upon Him and seek Him.
May the Lord ordain peace for you and cause you to experience His perfect peace as you keep your trust in Him. In Jesus name, may He keep your heart, guide your steps, and provide for your daily needs.
