We join you in thanking the Lord for His goodness, for His steadfast love endures forever. We rejoice that you have a thankful heart, for we are commanded In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you 1 Thessalonians 5:18 and Give thanks to Yahweh, for he is good, for his loving kindness endures forever Psalm 107:1.
We lift up each of your requests together before the throne of grace in the name of Jesus. We notice you addressed your prayer to Lord, and we want to gently remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, for Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6 and There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. We encourage you to come boldly in that precious name, trusting in His finished work on the cross for forgiveness and access.
We pray for your need for good rest. The Lord knows our frame and desires to give rest to His children, as it is written Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest Matthew 11:28 and so he gives sleep to his beloved Psalm 127:2. We ask the Father to quiet your mind and body, to grant you deep and restorative sleep, and to renew your strength as you trust in Him.
We bring before the Lord the health needs you mentioned, your loved one whose name was redacted, your own family member, the one suffering with lung issues, and the one with the heart issue who needs quick healing. We ask Jehovah Rapha, the Lord who heals, to lay His healing hand upon each of them. We pray as Scripture promises But I will restore you to health, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17 and Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases Psalm 103:2-3. We ask for wisdom for doctors, for comfort for families, and for quick healing according to His perfect will, knowing that The prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up James 5:15.
We also join you in praying against lustful thoughts, and we want to address this with biblical clarity and love. Lustful thoughts are not harmless, our Lord taught that everyone who gazes at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart Matthew 5:28. We are called to Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body 1 Corinthians 6:18. Therefore we rebuke the spirit of lust and we ask God to help you take every thought captive. We are to bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ 2 Corinthians 10:5 and to set our minds on Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is any praise, think about these things Philippians 4:8. We encourage you to not feed these thoughts but to flee temptation, to renew your mind through the Word, for Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind Romans 12:2, to guard your eyes and heart, to pursue purity and accountability, and to confess quickly when you stumble, for If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness 1 John 1:9.
We pray together now. Father in heaven, we thank You for Your goodness and mercy that follow us all our days. In the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, we come before You. Grant our dear one peaceful and uninterrupted rest, restore their body and mind as they sleep. Touch each loved one who is ill, heal lungs that struggle to breathe, heal the heart that is weak, bring quick and complete healing as You will, and give peace to all who are anxious. Forgive us for lustful thoughts and cleanse our hearts, create in us a pure heart and renew a steadfast spirit within us, help us to flee from youthful lusts and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace. Fill our minds with what is pure and holy, and empower us by Your Holy Spirit to walk in self control. We ask all this in the mighty and only saving name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.

We give thanks with you for the goodness of the Lord, and we join you in bringing these burdens before the throne of grace through Jesus Christ, in whom alone is salvation.
We pray that you may know that rest of which our Saviour speaks, Come unto me all ye that labour and are heavy laden and I will give you rest. It is a present rest, given when we come to Jesus, and it is also a rest found as we learn of Him and take His yoke upon us. May the Lord grant you quiet sleep and a soul at rest on the wing, rest in motion and in service, with His yoke upon you, and a mind made like the mind of Christ. And we pray you may look also to that perfect rest which remaineth for the people of God, where labour and sorrow are no more.
We lift up to the Lord those whom you have named, and ask for His merciful hand upon every need of body. For those suffering with lung trouble and with trouble of the heart, we pray the Great Physician would bring healing according to His wise and loving will. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ, and even the leaves of the tree of life are for healing. The least thing about Christ is healing virtue to change the life blood and make the nature new. We ask that He would grant quick healing if it be His will, and in any case patience, strength and faith to trust Him, knowing that pardon and healing flow from the same hand.
And with you we pray, Lead us not into temptation. Temptation in itself is dangerous, and it is right for the Christian to pray to be kept from it and from its mischief. We ask that the Lord would keep you from going into temptation and would deliver you from the evil one, that you may stand fast and not stain your garments. May He wash your feet again from the dust of the way, and keep you in purity and uprightness. Sanctification is the great separator of Christians from the world, and we pray He would make you pure in heart and charitable in life, visiting the afflicted and keeping yourself unspotted.
May the Lord hear your prayer, forgive your sins, heal your infirmities, give you rest unto your souls, and preserve you blameless. We ask all in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Your thanksgiving for the goodness of God is a right and good place to begin, and I join my prayers with yours.
I have heard your requests for good rest, for the health of your loved ones, for healing for those suffering with lung trouble and for the one with the heart issue, and for quick recovery. I also hear your honest prayer against lustful thoughts, and that is a prayer God delights to answer.
Scripture reminds us that true rest is a gift from God. He has promised a rest for His people that remains, and He also gives daily rest to our bodies and minds as we trust Him. I pray that He will grant you refreshing sleep and quietness of heart, and that you will not be troubled by anxieties, knowing that His promises stand firm even when we face many difficulties.
For those who are sick, I pray for the Lord's healing hand upon them. He knows every lung and every heart, for He formed them. Ask Him for mercy and for strength for them in this time of weakness, and for wisdom for those caring for them, that they may recover quickly according to His will and be restored to health for His glory.
Concerning lustful thoughts, you do well to bring this struggle into the light. These temptations belong to the cares of this world and the deceitfulness that would choke the Word in us. You are not alone in this battle, for no temptation has taken you but such as is common to man. God is faithful, and He will not let you be tempted beyond what you are able to bear, but with the temptation He will also make a way of escape, so that you can endure it. That way is often found by turning at once to Christ, by the power of His Word which is living and active and sharper than any two edged sword, discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart, and by fleeing what stirs those desires and pursuing what is pure.
So let us pray together.
