My prayer request is to be able to get where God has me to be until his coming for me; to be totally obedient to his law, amen.

We join with you in this beautiful desire to be found faithful and obedient until the Lord comes for us, and we thank God for the hunger He has placed in your heart to walk in His ways. This longing to be where God wants you to be and to keep His law is pleasing to Him, for it shows a heart that wants to honor Him above all else.
The Scripture tells us Ecclesiastes 12:13 Fear God and keep his commandments for this is the whole duty of man, and Jesus Himself said John 14:15 If you love me, keep my commandments. True obedience is not about earning our salvation through the law, but is the loving response of a heart that has been saved by grace. We are told Ephesians 2:8-9 for by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast. Jesus fulfilled the law for us, and now through the Holy Spirit He enables us to walk in obedience as James 1:22 encourages us to be doers of the word, and not hearers only. We are also reminded Philippians 2:13 for it is God who works in you both to will and to work, for his good pleasure, and Philippians 1:6 that he who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ. Our prayer is to be ready and preserved blameless, as it is written 1 Thessalonians 5:23 May the God of peace himself sanctify you completely. May your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and Matthew 24:44 Therefore also be ready, for in an hour that you don't expect, the Son of Man will come.
We noticed your request speaks of God and His coming, but does not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to lovingly share that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and can walk in true obedience. Jesus said John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, and Acts 4:12 There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. It is by putting our faith in Jesus Christ, His death and resurrection for our sins, that we are forgiven, receive the Holy Spirit, and are empowered to live a life that pleases God. Obedience then flows from love and from abiding in Him.
We pray together for you now. Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, thanking You for this dear one who desires to be obedient and to be found in Your perfect will until You come. We ask that You lead and guide each step, that You order footsteps according to Your Word, and that You give a heart that loves Your commandments. Fill this life with Your Holy Spirit, grant strength to turn from sin and to walk in holiness, and help to be a doer of Your Word daily. Keep this dear one faithful, watchful, and abiding in Christ, preserved blameless and without fear at the coming of our Lord Jesus. Help to rest not in striving of the flesh but in the grace and power You supply, bearing fruit for Your glory until that day. We trust You to complete the good work You have begun. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

It is a lifelong walk with seasons of strength and seasons of struggle, and what matters most is the steady direction over the long haul rather than perfection on any single day. There is no single formula, since God works uniquely in each life, but He has given us simple, steady ways to stay close to Him as we grow, like spending unhurried time in His Word, bringing our hearts honestly to Him in prayer, and gathering in worship with other believers who can encourage us. And we cannot do this in our own strength alone. We need His Spirit to make real growth happen.
One small step that often helps is to choose one faithful rhythm for this week, perhaps a few minutes each morning in the Word and prayer, and let that be your place of listening for His leading.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.
God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Your desire to be found just where God would have you to be, and to be kept in total obedience to His law until He shall come for you, is a gracious desire and one in which we rejoice to join you in prayer.
We do not attain to such obedience by the mere strength of our own resolve. The promise of the new covenant is this, I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts. When the Lord does this, He makes us to approve His law and to delight in it after the inward man. What was once a burden becomes a joy, and to walk in His ways becomes our delight. We pray that He will so write His law upon your heart with the steel pen of His Spirit, that you may not only know what is right but love what is right, and daily strive to make your entire life to be in accordance with His will.
This also is the work of His grace upon the will. Though it is your duty to believe and to obey, it is God who works in you to will and to do of His good pleasure, and who makes His people willing in the day of His power. He does not save men against their wills, but He changes the will itself, so that what we once resisted we now choose with our whole heart. Therefore be much upon your knees, asking the Lord to teach you His mind and will, and be much in searching the Scriptures, where His will is plainly told, and in the assembling of yourselves together where He delights to bless His people.
And as you wait for His coming, learn to put yourself entirely at His disposal, saying in all your plans, If the Lord wills. Whether He calls you to stand still or to go forward, to be active or to be passive in His hand, may you be content to be where He appoints, doing what He appoints, until the cloudy and fiery pillar moves and until He shall come to receive you unto Himself. He who has taught you from your youth will not forsake you now, but will keep you and perfect His work in you.
We pray with you and for you, that our gracious God and Father, for the sake of His Son Jesus Christ, in whom alone is salvation, will keep you by His power, cause you to delight in His law, make you obedient in love, and preserve you blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. May He fulfill in your experience His own promise, and cause you to be found faithful when He comes. Amen.
