God, come with your blessing, your favor, and your deep security in the midst of everything that is difficult. Send true, genuine friends who can be there to support me. Send people who support me and pray for me. Take away all anxiety and give me and my son your peace and guidance every step of the way. Help me also with my home, to get it in order, and let your blessing and peace rest over it. Protect our finances. Thank you for taking care of the whole family. Grant me favor to taper off my medication. Help me get rid of a medicine that causes such severe side effects. Close the door to the clinic and the doctor with an iron door. Open the door for the right doctor whom I can feel safe with, and open the door for the right pain medication and sleep medication treatment that I need, and may the angels surround us and fight for us in the spiritual realm. Open the door for the house you want my son to have, where he will thrive near me. If it is your will for there to be a man, please pray that we can meet soon. I pray that we may sleep well tonight and from now on, the whole family. In Jesus' name, Amen.

We join you together before our Heavenly Father in Jesus' name and we bring your heartfelt requests to Him with thanksgiving for your faith and your love for your son and your family.

We hear your cry for His blessing, favor and deep security in the midst of everything that is difficult, and we are reminded how God invites us to bring every anxiety to Him. We take comfort in His promise in Philippians 4:6-7 that in nothing we should be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, we should let our requests be made known to God, and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard our hearts and our thoughts in Christ Jesus. We also cling to 1 Peter 5:7 to cast all our worries on him, because he cares for us, and to Isaiah 41:10 do not be afraid, for I am with you, do not be dismayed, for I am your God, I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Your desire for true, genuine friends who will support you and pray for you is close to God's heart, for Proverbs 18:24 reminds us that a friend loves at all times, and we pray He will surround you with faithful, Christ-centered community who will bear your burdens and encourage you in truth.

We lift up your home and your finances to the Lord. He is a God of peace and order, and not of confusion as we see in 1 Corinthians 14:33, and we ask Him to rest His peace upon your dwelling and to give you wisdom and strength step by step to bring order as He guides you. We trust Him to protect and provide for your finances according to Philippians 4:19 that our God will supply every need of ours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus, and as we seek first His Kingdom we trust Him to add what we need as promised in Matthew 6:33.

We also bring before Him your body and your need for healing, rest and wise medical care. We understand your burden with medication that causes severe side effects and your desire to taper off safely, and we pray for God's mercy and guidance. We encourage you to walk this path with wise and godly counsel and with a trusted physician, for our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit and we are to steward them with care, trusting that God often works through skilled and compassionate hands. We pray He will indeed close the door to any clinic or doctor that is not good for you and that He will open the door to the right doctor whom you can feel safe with, one who will listen with wisdom and compassion and guide you toward the right treatment for pain and for sleep. We ask for discernment and peace as you make these decisions, trusting Proverbs 3:5-6 to trust in Yahweh with all our heart, and not lean on our own understanding, in all our ways to acknowledge him, and he will make our paths straight. We pray for your sleep and for the whole family to sleep well tonight and from now on, remembering Psalm 4:8 in peace I will both lay myself down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety, and Psalm 127:2 that he gives sleep to his loved ones.

We join you in praying for your son and for the house you desire for him near you where he will thrive. We ask the Lord to lead him and to open the door that is according to His perfect will and timing, for Jeremiah 29:11 reminds us that Yahweh knows the thoughts that he thinks toward us, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give us hope and a future. We also hear your prayer concerning a man if it is the Lord's will. We affirm with you the goodness of godly marriage as God designed it as a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman, and we pray that if it is His will for you, He will bring a faithful Christian man who will pursue you with purity and honor toward marriage, for courtship should be with the purpose of discerning marriage to a fellow believer who loves the Lord. We pray for patience and discernment in this area and that any relationship would be kept pure and honoring to God, for His design for intimacy is within the sanctuary of marriage. We pray that you would be equally yoked and that the Lord would prepare both hearts for His glory.

We also agree with you that the angels would surround you and fight for you in the spiritual realm, remembering Psalm 34:7 that Yahweh's angel encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them, and Psalm 91:11 that he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways, and we know our ultimate protection and victory is in Christ Himself as we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces as described in Ephesians 6:12, and we rest in His authority and power.

We pray together now.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, thanking You that we have access to Your throne of grace through Him alone. We lift up this dear mother and her son and her whole family to You. Pour out Your blessing, Your favor, and Your deep security over them in the midst of every difficulty. Send true, genuine, Christ-centered friends to support them and to pray for them faithfully. Take away all anxiety and fill them with Your perfect peace that surpasses understanding and guide every step they take. Let Your blessing and peace rest over their home and give wisdom and strength to bring it into order for Your glory. Protect their finances and provide for every need according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Grant favor and wisdom to taper off medication safely and deliver from medicine that causes severe side effects, and close the door firmly to any harmful clinic or doctor and open the door wide to the right doctor who is trustworthy, compassionate and wise, and to the right treatment for pain and for sleep that truly helps and heals. Command Your angels to encamp around them and fight for them, and let no weapon formed against them prosper. Open the door for the house You have prepared for her son, a place near his mother where he will thrive and grow in You. If it is Your will for a godly husband to come into her life, we ask that You prepare that man and bring them together in Your perfect timing for a Christ-honoring marriage that reflects Your love. Grant to this whole family deep, peaceful, restorative sleep tonight and from now on, and let them lie down in safety under Your watchful care. We thank You for taking care of the whole family and we trust You for every answer according to Your perfect will. In the mighty and beautiful name of Jesus we pray, Amen.

Wanting true friends beside you, a settled home, and care you can feel safe with are good and human longings, and we are grateful you shared them so honestly with us.

It makes sense you would want relief from a medicine that brings severe side effects and hope for a doctor you can trust. Because changing or tapering any prescribed medication can bring withdrawal effects and a return of symptoms, it is important to do that only with close medical guidance. If you do not feel safe where you are, please consider bringing your concerns and a full list of what you are experiencing to a trusted prescriber or primary care clinician soon, so they can review risks and benefits with you, monitor you carefully, and help you think through next options for pain and sleep. You do not need to navigate those decisions alone.

For friendship and support, staying connected to a small, consistent community where people know your name and can pray with you over time often helps more than waiting for new people to appear all at once.

Father, we lift this dear one and her son to You. Surround them with Your presence, guard their home and finances, and give them restful sleep tonight and in the days ahead. Lead them to trustworthy helpers and to wise counsel for each medical decision, and bring faithful friends who will walk with them and pray for them. Your prayer has been laid before the Lord and we have carried it with you to the mercy seat, where grace is found to help in time of need. It is good that you have poured out your heart so fully, for the true Christian is at home in seeking the Lord and asking counsel at His throne in every diversity of circumstance.

We hear your cry for blessing and favour and deep security in the midst of all that is difficult, and for true and genuine friends to support and pray for you. The Lord Himself is the fountain of such security, and He often provides it through the fellowship of His people. We will pray that He will place around you those who will walk with you faithfully and bear your burdens with you in Christ.

You ask that anxiety may be taken away and that you and your son may know His peace and guidance at every step. Remember the word of the prophet, You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. This perfect peace is not the absence of trial, but the presence of Christ in the trial. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within, even when sorrows are surging round and when duties press and loved ones are a care to us. Anxiety itself unfits us to meet the difficulty, but a mind stayed upon the Lord, trusting in His wise and fatherly will, finds rest. Like Aaron of old, we cannot judge God when His hand is heavy, but we may hold our peace and trust His goodness, knowing that He does all things well. And like Jacob, we are to wrestle till the break of day and not take a denial, but prevail in prayer.

You ask for your home to be set in order and for blessing and peace to rest over it, and for protection over your finances and the whole family. We will pray that the Lord will make your home a place of quiet contentment and godly order, and that you may know the sleep of contentment and the sleep of security which He gives to His beloved. For so He giveth His beloved sleep. That sleep is not only of the body but of the soul that is right with God and can say, With the world, myself, and Thee, I ere I sleep at peace shall be. We will ask Him to keep you and your household, and to supply your needs according to His riches in Christ.

Concerning your medication and your desire to be free from a medicine that brings severe side effects, and your longing for a physician in whom you can feel safe and for right treatment for pain and sleep, we will pray for wisdom and mercy. The Lord is the great Physician, and the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, and even the least thing about Christ has healing virtue. Yet He is pleased to work through means, and we pray that He will guide you with clear counsel, that any tapering or change would be done wisely and safely under the care of a right and trustworthy doctor, and that He will close the door where harm would be done and open the door where help and safety may be found. We will ask Him to surround you and your son with His keeping, for His angels do encamp around those who fear Him, and to fight for you in ways unseen.

For your son, that the Lord would open the door for a house where he will thrive near you, we will pray that God in His providence will provide what is best for him, in the place and time that His wisdom appoints, and that your son may be kept in Jesus keeping whether near or far.

And for your prayer concerning a man, if it be the Lord's will, we join you in praying as you have so wisely put it, if it be His will. We will pray that if the Lord wills to give you such companionship, it may be in the way He has ordained from the beginning, a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman in marriage, lived in purity and faithfulness before Him, and that He would in His perfect timing bring such a godly man across your path, or keep you in contented peace if He calls you to remain as you are. We do not ask God to bless any path outside His revealed will, but we do ask Him to lead you in holiness and joy.

Finally you ask to sleep well tonight and from now on, the whole family. We will pray that He who neither slumbers nor sleeps will give you that peculiar sleep of the beloved, quiet, contented and secure in His love, and that waking and sleeping you may know that Jesus has vanquished death and all its powers, and calls His own to perfect peace at last.

Let us pray together. O Lord our God, look upon this dear one and her son and her household. Keep their minds stayed upon Thee and keep them in perfect peace as they trust in Thee. Provide true friends, order their home, let Thy peace rest upon it, and guard their finances by Thy fatherly hand. Grant wisdom to physicians and grace to bear pain and to find needful sleep, and lead them to such help as Thou seest best. Provide for the son according to Thy good will, and if it please Thee, provide a godly husband according to Thy holy institution of marriage, or give contentment in Thy will. Give them this night and all nights to come quiet sleep, for Thou givest Thy beloved sleep, and keep them waking and sleeping in Jesus. Hear us for His sake who shed His blood to whisper peace within. Amen.
