Beloved of All
Thank you for trusting us with this request and for sharing so honestly about the heavy burden you are carrying as you face two very different matters at once, one in the court and one private. We have prayed for you, for your children, and for your attorney, and we continue to stand with you before the Lord for the days ahead.
Scripture reminds us not to think of a fiery trial as if something strange were happening to us, even though that is often how it feels when the weight is personal. We naturally want to avoid suffering and wonder why it has come to us. Yet God has promised to be with His people in every trial. The testing of faith is more precious than gold that does not last, because God uses it like fire to refine and to form enduring character. He is described as a consuming fire, not to destroy His children but to purify. He knows the path you are taking, and He is able to bring you through to victory in Him. There will be a day when you can look back and praise Him even for this hard season, as the psalmist who wrestled with discouragement and yet said he would still praise God.
Every trial also has a purpose to draw us closer to Jesus, so that we do not try to stand alone but are forced to lean on Him more fully. We pray that in this pressure you will sense His nearness and be carried in the Father's hand.
We have asked God to give you clear wisdom and guidance, and to give your attorney understanding and insight as you work together, so that your cooperation is marked by clarity and good communication.
We have also prayed for justice and truth. God cares deeply about justice for all people, and He often takes up the cause of the poor, the afflicted and those who feel without power. Courts are meant to ensure that justice is done and to deliver those in need from the hand of wrong, but human justice is imperfect. Often truth seems to fall in the street and fairness cannot enter, and even those who work in the legal system will say that a just outcome cannot be guaranteed. God, however, is a God of righteousness and justice, and He desires that righteousness prevail. We have asked Him to bring what is hidden into the light, to expose lies, and to let what is right and true be seen. Even when people in authority knew what was just, as in the trial of Jesus before the religious and Roman courts, they did not always do what was just, yet God remains the final judge who will judge the world in righteousness and truth, and we can trust His ultimate justice while we ask Him to act for justice now.
We have prayed for your private concerns to remain confidential, and for the peace and security you need. We have asked God to send His protection over you and your children, to cover you under the shadow of His wings and to guard you from spiritual attack through the blood of Jesus. We have prayed that He would station His angels to watch over you, that you and your children would be drawn closer to each other and to Him, and that your attorney also would know God's love and protection.
We have prayed for complete healing from every wound, for the encouragement of God's love, and for deep rest, peace and good sleep. We have asked that He grant favor and blessing to you, your children and your attorney according to His will, that His will be done, and that He work all things together for your good as He has promised for those who love Him. We have asked for His mercy and, as He wills, for His miraculous help, that these long nightmares would come to an end and be turned into something that brings blessing, and that you would be strengthened in health and in inner strength day by day.
May the Lord keep you close, give you quiet confidence in His care, and let you know you are upheld by His hand. In Jesus' name, Amen.
