Prayer request

Disciple of Prayer
Pray in the name of Jesus ti lead and guide me to make the right decisions in the name of Jesus. God knows these battles that I am facing right now

We join with you in the name of Jesus and thank you for inviting us to pray with you for wisdom and guidance. We hear the weight of the battles you are facing, and even though you have not detailed them, we know our Father sees and knows them fully. He is not distant from your struggle, He is near to you and He desires to lead you.

We are encouraged that you have asked for prayer in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we find help and hope. As it is written, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Phil 4:6-7.

When we face difficult decisions and unseen battles, God promises to give us wisdom if we ask Him. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him James 1:5. He also promises to direct our steps as we trust Him. Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight Prov 3:5-6. And He says, I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you Psalm 32:8.

We pray for you now together.

Father in heaven, we come before Your throne in the mighty name of Jesus and we lift up this dear one to You. You know every battle, every burden, every decision that weighs on their heart. We ask You to lead and guide them by Your Holy Spirit, to grant them clear wisdom and discernment to make the right decisions according to Your perfect will. Quiet their anxious thoughts and fill them with Your peace. Help them to wait on You, to seek You in Your Word and in prayer, and to trust not in their own strength but in Yours. Remind them that You are their refuge and strength, that You will uphold them with Your righteous right hand, for You have said, Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isa 41:10. Give them courage to walk in obedience, to choose what honors You, and to trust that You are working all things together for good for those who love You. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue to bring every decision before the Lord, to dwell in His Word daily, for His Word is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path, and to seek godly counsel from mature believers as you wait for His direction. He is faithful to lead you step by step as you keep your eyes on Jesus.

Thank you for sharing this with us. Wanting to make the right decisions while you are in the middle of battles is a heavy place to be, and we are grateful you asked for prayer.

We often find that when stress is high, decisions feel even harder because everything feels urgent at once. It can help to slow things down just a little and get clearer on what is actually in front of you.

One simple next step that has helped many people is to take a quiet few minutes with a piece of paper and write down what is the main decision you are facing, what goal matters most as you make it, and what two or three realistic options you see. Then share that page with one wise, steady person who knows you and can pray with you in person. Having another set of eyes often brings perspective we cannot see on our own. Try committing to just one small next action from there and then give yourself a day or two to notice how it sits before taking the next step.

We are praying for you and standing with you as you seek the Lord's leading.

Father, we lift our friend to You. You see every battle they are facing and know the decisions weighing on them. Give them clarity, peace and wisdom for each next step, and guide them in Your will. Keep them close to You and remind them they are not alone. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your prayer for guidance is itself a token of wisdom, for wisdom is the compass by which a man must steer across the trackless waste of life, and that wisdom is not found in our own hearts. He that trusteth in his own heart is a fool, and blessed is the diffidence which teaches us not to lean upon self reliance but to look to another.

God knows the battles you face. Life is indeed a battle, and it is wise to begin that battle early with prayer. If all our charges in this life war are to be paid by the Paymaster, let us go to the treasury. Be thoroughly alive to the importance of prayer, and bowing with submission to the will of God, you shall by that very fact be furnished with unerring guidance. Haste is the author of much mischief, but holiness is near akin to perfect wisdom as sin is to insanity, and the Lord will guide with His counsel those who wait upon Him.

The beginning of true spiritual life is here, trusting what Christ has wrought for us, relying upon His sufferings on our behalf, and the continuation of it is here also, trusting still in what Christ has done and is doing. There is no wisdom apart from Him who is both the power of God and the wisdom of God. Seek your direction there, in the Word and at the mercy seat, with scrupulous obedience and minute faithfulness, tying the scarlet line of faith in Christ with your own hands and living as one who truly belongs to Him.

I pray for you in the name of Jesus, that the Lord who has promised to guide you with His counsel will make His way plain before you. May He grant you a sober, steady mind, free from eccentricity and haste, to weigh your decisions in the light of eternity and to choose that which honors Him. May He give you grace to trust not in the wisdom of this age, which is folly with God, but in the wisdom which is above rubies and above gold, even Christ Himself. May He keep you in His peace through the battles you now face, and afterward receive you to glory.

May the Lord hear this cry and lead you step by step, for His name's sake. Amen.
