I ask for prayers for my life, that God may have mercy and compassion on my soul; throughout my life, I have struggled to remain steadfast in obedience to God's Word. I have an addiction to watching pornography and have been fighting this sin for years. I ask God to forgive me for all the iniquity I have committed regarding sexual immorality; I confess that I have this weakness. I also ask God to forgive me for every time I lied during INSS (Social Security) medical evaluations to obtain benefits (money). I also acknowledge my sin of keeping bad company (people who do not share the faith). Help me, God, to leave behind my worldly friends who do not seek You. I ask God to forgive me if I have not been sincere with Him; may the Holy Spirit help me to be sincere before God. Please, God, forgive me if I have not been sincere; please help me. I have been suffering from severe demonic oppression; I feel demons touching my body, and I have been sexually abused by evil spirits while I sleep—against my will. I try to sleep leaning against the wall to avoid being abused, yet it still happens. It is something I refuse to accept! I have seen that this happens to others as well—one need only look up attacks by incubi and succubi. Please, I need urgent prayer support for my life so that God may have pity, mercy, and compassion on me, and forgive all the iniquity and sins I have committed, whether consciously or unconsciously. May I be set free from all evil, curses, and burdens weighing upon my life, and may I be filled with the Holy Spirit so that I may serve, worship, and glorify the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. May I come to have a testimony of healing and deliverance to glorify Him and win many souls for the Lord Jesus Christ—reaching people who are going through the same or similar problems as I am. I also never fail to pray for my family; may God have mercy on my relatives, and may He not allow any of them to die without salvation. May He show mercy to my family so that what is written may be fulfilled: As for me and my house, we will serve the LORD. And also: Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved—you and your household. We have read your cry for help and we join with you in bringing it before the throne of grace in the holy name of the Lord Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we can be saved. We thank you for your honesty in confessing these struggles, for the Word says in Proverbs 28:13 He who conceals his sins does not prosper, but whoever confesses and forsakes them will obtain mercy, and in 1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Your desire for sincerity and for the Holy Spirit to create in you a clean heart is pleasing to God, as it is written in Psalm 51:10 Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a right spirit within me, and in Psalm 51:6 Behold, you desire truth in the inward parts.

We must lovingly address what you have confessed so that you may walk in full repentance and freedom. Regarding your long battle with pornography, we rebuke this sin with you, for Jesus said in Matthew 5:28 that everyone who gazes at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart, and Scripture commands in 1 Corinthians 6:18 Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. This addiction defiles the temple of the Holy Spirit, hardens the heart, and opens doors to deeper oppression, and it must be forsaken completely, not fought in secret. We encourage you to make a covenant with your eyes as Job did, to remove every source of provision for the flesh, to install accountability, to walk in the light with a mature believing brother or pastor, and to remember that in 1 Corinthians 10:13 God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.

Regarding lying during medical evaluations to obtain benefits, we must also speak the truth in love. This is deceit and theft, and it violates the command in Exodus 20:15 and Exodus 20:16 You shall not steal and You shall not give false testimony, and it dishonors God before the authorities He has ordained as taught in Romans 13:1. We urge you to repent before God for this and, as the Lord leads, to make restitution where you are able, following the example of Zacchaeus who said in Luke 19:8 Behold, Lord, half of my goods I give to the poor. If I have wrongfully exacted anything of anyone, I restore four times as much. God will give you grace to walk honestly and to trust Him to provide for your needs without deceit, for in Ephesians 4:28 Let him who stole steal no more, but rather let him labor, working with his hands the thing that is good.

We also affirm your conviction about bad company. The Word warns in 1 Corinthians 15:33 Do not be deceived. Evil companionships corrupt good morals, and in 2 Corinthians 6:14 what fellowship has light with darkness. We encourage you to separate yourself from worldly friendships that pull you from Christ and to pursue fellowship with believers who will strengthen you to serve, worship and glorify the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Your suffering from demonic oppression and the attacks you describe as you sleep are not to be taken lightly, and we do not doubt the reality of spiritual warfare, for in Ephesians 6:12 our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Yet we want you to know that for every believer who is in Christ, greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world as promised in 1 John 4:4, and the evil one cannot have authority over one who submits to God and resists him. In James 4:7 we are commanded Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you. These attacks thrive where sexual immorality and unconfessed sin have given ground, so as you confess, renounce and forsake that sin, close every door through repentance, fill your mind and your room with the Word and with worship, put on the whole armor of God daily, and cry out aloud the name of Jesus Christ when you are attacked, for at His name every knee must bow. Continue to seek deliverance through prayer, fasting, and the help of a faithful Bible believing pastor who can pray with you in person.

We rejoice that you are praying for your family and standing on the promises in Joshua 24:15 As for me and my house, we will serve the LORD and in Acts 16:31 Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household. We join you for their salvation, that none would die without Christ.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, and we lift up this dear soul who has humbled himself and confessed his sins before You. Lord, have mercy and compassion upon him according to Your steadfast love. Forgive him for every act of sexual immorality, for every lustful look and every time he has given himself to pornography, and cleanse him by the blood of Jesus shed on the cross. Forgive him for every lie spoken to obtain money, for every deception, and for every compromise with worldly companions, and give him courage to walk in truth and to make right what he has done wrong. Father, create in him a sincere heart, fill him with Your Holy Spirit, and teach him to walk in sincerity and truth before You. In the name of Jesus Christ we rebuke every evil spirit, every incubus and succubus and every demonic oppression that has touched his body and abused him in sleep, and we command it to leave and never return, for Christ has triumphed over all powers and authorities. Surround him as he sleeps, let Your holy angels encamp around him, let Your peace guard his mind, and let him know that he belongs to You and that no weapon formed against him shall prosper. Set him free from all evil, curses and burdens, fill him anew with the Holy Spirit, and raise him up as a testimony of healing and deliverance to win many souls for the Lord Jesus Christ who suffer as he has suffered. Have mercy also on every member of his family whose names he has lifted before You, draw each one to repentance and faith in Jesus, and let his household be saved and serve You all their days. Strengthen him to remain steadfast in obedience to Your Word, to flee temptation, to forsake evil companions, and to walk in fellowship with Your people. We ask this in faith, believing that the effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much as promised in James 5:16, and we thank You that You hear us through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

We thank you for trusting us with so much of your heart. It takes real courage to name these struggles so plainly, and we hear how deeply you want to walk honestly before God, to be free, and to see your family know His mercy. That desire for a sincere heart is itself precious to Him, even when you feel you fall short.

The fight with pornography over many years can feel lonely and exhausting, especially when you have tried to stop in your own strength. Lasting change so often grows not alone but with steady, trusted support. We encourage you to bring this whole burden to one faithful pastor or Christian counselor and meet with him regularly, someone who can pray with you, keep you accountable, and help you put practical guards in place and find a small group where you do not have to hide. That same pastor can also help you think through wise and honest next steps regarding past statements for benefits and how to walk differently going forward, and help you navigate stepping back from friendships that pull you away from the Lord.

For the fear and distress you experience at night, please do not carry it alone either. Keep bringing it into the light with that pastor, asking others to pray with you and for you, and to help you seek the Lord's protection and peace in those hours.

Father, have mercy on our brother, forgive his sins and wash him clean through Jesus. Quiet his fear, guard his mind and body as he sleeps, and fill him with Your Holy Spirit so he can walk in freedom and worship You. Your cry has come before the Lord and before His people, and it is received with sorrow, with hope, and with earnest prayer. You have done well to confess your trespasses, for the Scripture says, Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. To hide sin is to keep a wound covered, but to confess it before God is to lay it open to the Physician who alone can heal.

You speak truly when you say you have struggled to remain steadfast, and that you feel your own weakness. This is no strange thing to the people of God. The Lord has chastened you sorely, and it is well to see His hand even in the bitter cup, for He sits as a Refiner at the door of the furnace. Yet hear this above all else, He is gracious unto him, and says, Deliver him from going down to the Pit, I have found a ransom. Nobody would have thought of that way of deliverance from the pit of hell through a ransom if God had not thought of it, but He has invented it and He has found it. His own Son has borne the penalty of all iniquity for every soul that trusts in Him. Your forgiveness, your cleansing, your sincerity before God, do not rest upon the strength of your own resolve, but upon the blood of Jesus Christ, which cleanses from all sin.

Concerning the sins you name, let the Word of God speak plainly and mercifully. The addiction to pornography is sexual immorality, and it must be called by its true name. Sex is the gift of God belonging only within the lifelong covenant of one man and one woman in marriage, and to seek it elsewhere, whether in act or in the eye, is sin against your own body and against the Lord. Flee it, as Joseph fled, and look not to your own power to break its chains, for deliverance from the power of sin is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin. You must look to your heavenly Father altogether and alone for this, and He who has delivered you from the guilt of sin by the cross will also deliver you from its fascinating power as you walk in the Spirit, in the Word, and in watchful prayer.

Concerning the lies spoken to obtain money from the INSS, this also is sin, for the Lord desires truth in the inward parts and hates dishonest gain. A child of God who knows that his God is with him will not do a dishonest thing though trade should fail or need should press. Repent of this before the Lord, and where it is possible, make restitution and walk henceforth in honesty, trusting the Lord to provide for your daily bread rather than taking by deceit what is not yours.

Concerning bad company, you judge rightly. He has taught us the mischief that comes from loving the world and the things thereof. You would fancy from the actions of some professors that they were not delivered from the power of darkness at all, but were only helped to keep away from some conspicuous sin. True deliverance brings a separation. He has delivered us from the power of darkness, and that deliverance must be seen in turning away from those who tempt you to sin and in cleaving to the people of God, where you may be strengthened and watched over.

Concerning your distress in the night, when you feel oppression and abuse against your will, know that our adversary the devil walks about as a roaring lion, and this arrow is often shot from Satan's bow to wound the troubled conscience. Yet the Lord Jesus Christ has triumphed over all the power of darkness. Deliverance from sin and from Satan is solely by the power of God. It is not of him that wills, nor of him that runs, but of God that shows mercy. No easy work and no hasty word of man can free a soul, but Christ can, and He does. Therefore do not give yourself to fear or to curious inquiries into incubi and succubi, but give yourself to Christ. Resist the devil, steadfast in the faith, put on the whole armor of God, keep to prayer and to the Scriptures when you lie down and when you rise up, and seek the help of faithful pastors and brethren in a true church who can pray over you and watch with you. If this oppression continues with great heaviness, seek also the counsel of godly and wise helpers near you, that you may not suffer alone.

You ask, may God give you a sincere heart, and whether you have been sincere. Know that sincerity is not perfection of feeling, but truth before God, to come as you are, without cloak or excuse, and to say, God be merciful to me a sinner. The Holy Spirit helps us to be sincere, for He shows us our need and leads us to the ransom. Do not look within to find sincerity as a price to pay for mercy, look to Christ who is your mercy. When you have that ransom, sincerity will grow as fruit grows upon a living tree.

And for your family, whom you name before the Lord, we join our prayers to yours. The promise stands, Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household, and your desire that it shall be said, As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord, is a holy desire. Pray on for them, speak to them of Christ as God gives you opportunity, and live before them a life that declares the works of the Lord.

May the Lord hear us now for you.
