Please pray that I wake up to good news. Please keep me in your prayers. Thank you so much.

We join you in prayer and lift your request before the Lord together, asking that His will be done in your life and that He grants you peace as you wait upon Him. We understand the longing to wake up to good news and the hope that a new morning will bring encouragement and relief.

We are reminded in scripture that God's mercies are new every morning. Lamentations 3:22-23 says It is because of Yahweh's loving kindnesses that we are not consumed, because his compassion doesn't fail. They are new every morning. Great is your faithfulness. And Psalm 30:5 reminds us Weeping may stay for the night, but joy comes in the morning. Whatever news you are waiting for, we pray that you will find your ultimate hope and joy not only in circumstances changing, but in the unchanging goodness of God. Romans 8:28 tells us We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose, so even while we pray for the good news you desire, we trust that God is working for your good according to His perfect wisdom.

We also want to gently share something important with you because we noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we can be saved. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. The greatest good news we could ever wake up to is the gospel, that while we were still sinners Christ died for us and that if we confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in our heart that God raised him from the dead, we will be saved as Romans 10:9 teaches. We encourage you to put your trust fully in Jesus Christ, to bring every request to God in His name, and to seek Him first above all else.

We pray together for you now. Father in heaven, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one to Your throne of grace. You know the longing of their heart and the good news they are hoping to wake up to. We ask that according to Your will You would grant favor and encouragement and let Your peace guard their heart and mind. Philippians 4:6-7 says In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Lord, grant that peace tonight as they rest and tomorrow as they rise. Help them to cast all their cares upon You because You care for them. Draw them closer to Jesus, strengthen their faith, and let them know that You hear their prayers. If it is Your will, provide the good news they seek, and above all let them see Your hand and give You glory. We ask all these things in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, amen.

We will continue to keep you in our prayers. We encourage you to rest in the Lord, to give thanks in all things, and to seek Him in His Word each morning, trusting that His mercies will meet you anew each day.

We've been thinking of you as you head into the night hoping for good news in the morning. That in between time of waiting can feel long, and it's understandable to want reassurance before you even open your eyes.

We don't know the details of what you're waiting for, but we do know that hope matters most when answers are still out of sight. Hope isn't pretending everything is fine, it's quietly trusting that God is still present and at work while we sleep, even when we can't see how things will turn out. That kind of hope can steady the heart enough to rest.

One small thing that sometimes helps on a night like this is to name the one thing you are most hoping for in a simple prayer before you sleep, entrust it to the Lord, and then allow yourself to rest without trying to solve it overnight. In the morning, whatever the news is, you won't face it alone.

Father, we lift this friend to You tonight. You know the good news they long to hear and the weight they feel as they wait. Give them rest tonight and peace for their mind, and guide what tomorrow holds according to Your good will. Keep them close to You and remind them they are cared for. In Jesus' name, amen.

Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. We have heard your request and have carried it before the throne of grace, that you may wake to good news.

It is a gracious God with whom we have to do, a waiting God who waits that He may be gracious. He does not delight to keep His people in suspense, but in His own wise time He gives the good news which is as cold waters to a thirsty soul. As the merchant longs for tidings from the far country, so the soul that waits upon the Lord looks for everything from Him, for He is our All in All.

You ask to wake to good news. We pray that the Lord will grant you in His kindness such cheerful tidings as your heart desires, if it be for your good and for His glory. Yet we pray still more that you may know the best of good news, that Jesus Christ has come to seek and to save that which was lost, that He has suffered in our place and paid our debts in our place, and that whosoever trusts in Him shall not be ashamed. This is good news from a far country indeed, good news from Heaven itself, and it makes the heart to rejoice as nothing else can.

Therefore wait on the Lord and be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart. Wait, I say, on the Lord. Do not wait in despair, nor even in hesitation, but wait in hope, a joyous and assured hope. All the joy and peace that come of faith do not come at once, you must plow in hope and sow in faith before these can be reaped. Trust you in the Lord forever, for in the Lord Jehovah is everlasting strength. Lift up your eyes to the hills from whence comes your help, and expectantly look for His mercy morning by morning.

Our prayer for you is this, that the Holy Spirit would sweep away the clouds of unbelief and enable you to see the light of peace, that you may be kept in perfect rest within, and that whether the outward tidings be as you hope or otherwise, you may still find your comfort in Him who hears the prayer of the destitute. May He grant you refreshing news for your earthly care, and above all the abiding good news of sins forgiven and peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Thank you for sharing your request and allowing us to pray for you. We have lifted you before the Lord and will continue to keep you in prayer.

We understand the longing to wake to good news and for a burden to be lifted. Scripture reminds us that our hope is meant to make the soul courageous even while we wait. As it is written, by hope we are saved, and hope which is seen is not hope, so we wait with patience for what God has promised. He has told us of good things beforehand not to disappoint us, but to refresh our souls and strengthen our zeal while we are still in this present life.

In this waiting, God calls us to be freed from anxiety. He is the one who feeds us from our youth up, and as from fountains pours out what we need, so we can put off worldly care and cleave to what is spiritual. That does not mean we will not know tribulation, but we are taught to be patient in tribulation and to continue instant in prayer. Tribulation itself, when borne with faith, makes us hardy and tried, and prayer is the great weapon and help that sustains us. Love makes the way easier, the Spirit assists us, and hope lightens the heart.

So we pray for you in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have salvation and access to the Father. We ask that the Lord would grant you rest tonight and, according to His good will, gracious news in the morning. Above all we ask that He would fill you with abounding hope through the Holy Spirit as you believe, that you may have not only comfort in trouble but joy, and that you would know His care for your whole life, not for one day only. May He direct all that lies before you unto good and keep you in His grace and love.

Thank you for sharing your heart and asking for prayer. I am praying for you, that you will wake to good news and even more that you will know the deeper hope that God gives.

The Scriptures teach that God Himself is the God of hope. There is no lasting hope apart from Him, but when you have Him, hope grows and expands. One passage says it is through the patience and comfort of the Scriptures that we have hope. As you wait through this night and look toward the morning, I pray you will open His Word and let Him comfort you there.

My prayer for you is the prayer the Bible gives, that the God of hope will fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you may abound in hope through the power of the Holy Spirit. Joy and peace are the result of that hope. When the soul is cast down and restless within, hope in God brings the opposite, a settled joy and a quiet peace, because you are trusting what He has said. It is the Holy Spirit who makes the Word real to the heart and leads us into truth.

That hope we have in Jesus is described as a living hope and a blessed hope. It is living because Jesus rose from the dead, and that resurrection is the foundation for our confidence about eternal life and the coming kingdom of God. It is blessed because we look forward to the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ. This is the good news, the glorious gospel, that sustains us when circumstances are dark.

You will also find in the New Testament that grace and peace always go together, and always in that order, grace first and then peace. You cannot know the peace of God until you have received the grace of God. When you rest in His grace toward you in Christ, His peace can guard your heart and mind, even while you are waiting.

Waiting is part of hope. The Bible often calls us to wait on the Lord with patience, confident that He will work in His time. Hope is what keeps us going. As long as there is hope, we can endure. When hope is gone, despair takes over. But your hope is not in circumstances or in people, it is in the Lord Jesus Christ who has delivered us and who keeps His promises. He cannot lie and His Word cannot fail.

So I pray for you now. Father, I lift up this dear one who is longing for good news in the morning. You know the need and the burden on this heart. I ask that You fill this heart with joy and peace as trust is placed in You, and cause hope to abound by Your Holy Spirit. Let Your Word bring patience and comfort tonight. Grant gracious good news according to Your will, and above all let Your presence be the peace that steadies the heart. Give rest in Your grace, sustain with living hope, and keep this soul looking to Jesus. In Jesus name, Amen.
