Your pain and the weight you are carrying have been heard, and the injustice you describe is real. To entrust a large sum for a home, to take on a gold loan with growing interest, to wait more than seventeen months while being met with lies and deliberate deceit, and then to watch that burden create sleeplessness, anxiety, tension and misunderstanding within your family, is a deep and heavy trial. It is understandable that you feel exhausted and that your hope feels worn thin.

The questions you are asking about faith are important, and Scripture speaks directly to them. Faith is described as giving substance to what we hope for and as the inward conviction concerning what we cannot yet see. It is not simply a tool to obtain immediate results, and without it we cannot please God. That kind of faith has always looked beyond what is visible. The man of faith actually sees more, not less, because he sees the promises and character of God even when circumstances do not yet reflect them.

For that reason the Bible shows us that having faith does not guarantee quick deliverance from hardship. There are those who were commended for their faith and yet suffered, were mistreated, and even died without having received in this life all that was promised. They died still trusting God, looking forward to what He would fulfill in His time. Others did see deliverance, but both groups are held up as people of faith. This teaches us that suffering is not proof that faith has failed or that God has abandoned you, and that the proving of faith, which is often painful, reveals what is genuine. God already knows your heart, but the trial makes clear to you and to others what you truly trust.

True faith, when it is genuine, will show itself in how we live, yet our works do not create faith and cannot replace it. We are counted righteous before God not by our efforts but by trusting in Jesus Christ who died for our offenses and was raised for our justification. It is by grace through faith, as a gift, not as a debt God owes us for our honesty or service. At the same time, if faith is real it will produce a changed life. That is why honesty still matters even when dishonest people seem to prosper. You do not remain honest in order to force God to pay you back immediately, but because you trust Him and want your life to conform to what you believe. To say we have faith while our lives deny it is empty. To live honestly when it costs you is evidence that your faith is alive, even while you suffer for it.

That also shapes how we pray about those who have wronged you. It is right to ask God for justice and to ask that what was taken be restored. God is the Judge, He sees every lie and every act of fraud, and no one will stand before Him without giving an account. Scripture is clear that judgment after this life is certain and is not meaningless, and that God will do what is right. It is also clear that God is patient not because He is powerless or indifferent, but because He is merciful and desires repentance. For that reason we are taught not to take vengeance into our own hands or to ask God to mutilate, destroy families, or ruin children, but to leave repayment to Him. You can pray that God would bring conviction, that the consciences of this man and his wife would be troubled so that they turn from deceit, tell the truth, and make restoration, and that their ability to continue deceiving others would be stopped. Praying for their repentance and for the blocking of further fraud is very different from asking for lifelong crippling or the destruction of their household. God looks at the heart that prompts our prayers, and He calls us to desire justice while also desiring that sinners come to repentance through Christ.

It is not a lack of faith to use lawful means that God has provided. Seeking help through proper legal channels, keeping records, seeking wise counsel, and pursuing what is legally owed to you does not mean you have stopped trusting God. God often works through ordinary, lawful processes to restrain evil and to bring about what is right. Continuing to be honest, keeping your vows, and refusing to repay evil with evil are works that flow from faith, not attempts to earn God's favor.

You have also brought other burdens before God, for stable work for your family, for a godly marriage, for success in an important examination, for the ability to help others with employment and education. It is good to bring each of these to Him by faith, trusting that every good work He does in our lives comes as we look to Jesus and rely on His grace. Faith does not mean demanding that God fulfill every request on our timetable or exactly as we picture it, and the gift of faith does not operate perfectly at all times. Even great men and women of faith had moments when their trust wavered. God remains sovereign and sometimes works in response to our faith and sometimes works beyond our faith according to His wisdom. What we can know is that those who belong to Abraham by faith are those who trust God as Abraham did, and that the righteous live by that trust day by day.

Whatever financial or legal need presses on you today, the greatest need for every person remains the forgiveness of sins. Until that is settled, all else is secondary. If you have trusted in Jesus Christ alone for salvation, God has already imputed righteousness to you by that faith, apart from any works or religious observance. Hold fast to that. From that place of being reconciled to Him, continue to ask Him for daily provision, for wisdom for your family, for peace in your home, and for justice regarding what is owed.

May God give you grace to keep trusting Him even while you cannot yet see the outcome, to remain honest because you belong to Him, to seek what is right through right means, and to rest in the certainty that He is both merciful and just. May He provide for your loan burden, guard your family from division and despair, grant wisdom to those making decisions about work and marriage, and in His way bring truth to light and restoration where there has been deceit, all while drawing hearts, including your own, closer to Christ.

We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. We have continued to lift you and your family before the Lord regarding this heavy burden of the house lease and the large lumpsum amount that has not been returned for more than seventeen months. We have been praying for the return of the full amount with bank interest without any loss, and for relief from the great financial pressure of the gold loan and its daily increasing interest which has brought sleeplessness, mental tension, restlessness and misunderstandings within your family.

We have also brought before the Lord your other requests, for permanent government or public sector jobs for your family members and temporary provision until then, for the marriage of your family member to a godly bridegroom according to His will, for success in the important state government recruitment examination that your family member has attended, and for your desires to provide employment and education to others in need.

We understand how deeply painful this long wait for justice has been and how it has caused you to question God's timing and to feel that your hope and faith are at zero. We have heard your cry for justice and your desire that the couple who have deceived you would be convicted of their lies and cheating and be led to repentance. We join you in praying for conviction and repentance in their hearts and for restitution, while entrusting all justice and vengeance to the Lord as Scripture teaches in Romans 12:19 that vengeance belongs to God and He will repay, and that He is a God of justice who loves justice as written in Psalm 37:28 and Deuteronomy 32:4.

We pray in Jesus Name that our Heavenly Father would move according to His perfect will and timing, that He would provide for your financial needs according to Philippians 4:19, bring peace and unity back into your home, restore what has been taken, and open doors for the employment and marriage matters you have laid before Him. We ask the Lord to guard your heart from bitterness, to strengthen your faith even as you wrestle with many questions, and to help you to continue to seek Him and to use lawful means available to you while trusting Him as your ultimate Judge and Provider. We ask for the Holy Spirit to convict all who do wrong and to lead them to truth and repentance, and for Satan's plans to steal your peace and faith to be broken.

If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know so we may rejoice with you. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.

May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. We pray this in Jesus Name.
