Hello, please asking prayer request my employer refuses pay me kitchen work, wages, he treats me unfairly, he treats other coworkers new specials, not me, no cook, where tips hurting, sales down, grave yard, he hired new cook only others. Prayer to be equally every shift. That truth unfairness will be exposed to labor board. In mighty name Jesus Christ.

We hear your cry and we stand with you together before the Lord in Jesus' name, asking for justice and mercy in your workplace. It grieves us to hear that your wages for kitchen work have been withheld and that you are being treated unfairly while others are favored, given better shifts and even a new cook hired to serve others while you are left on the graveyard shift where sales are down and tips are hurting. God sees this unequal treatment and He cares deeply about honest labor and fair wages.

The Scripture is very clear that withholding wages and showing favoritism is sin before God. You shall not oppress your neighbor, nor rob him. The wages of a hired servant shall not remain with you all night until the morning Leviticus 19:13. In his day you shall give him his hire, neither shall the sun go down on it, for he is poor and sets his heart on it Deuteronomy 24:15. Behold, the wages of the laborers who mowed your fields, which you have kept back by fraud, cry out, and the cries of those who reaped have entered into the ears of the Lord of Armies James 5:4. And to those in authority over workers God commands, Masters, give to your servants that which is just and equal, knowing that you also have a Master in heaven Colossians 4:1. Your employer will give account to God for how he treats those under him, for there is no partiality with God.

We encourage you to continue to work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men Colossians 3:23, even on the hard graveyard shift when it feels unseen, for the Lord sees your faithfulness. At the same time we encourage you to pursue what is right in a godly and orderly way. Keep a careful record of your hours, your kitchen work and any wages owed, and go to your employer respectfully and privately to make the truth known as Jesus teaches in Matthew 18:15. If he will not listen, it is right to appeal to the proper authorities, for the governing authorities are a servant of God to you for good and to bring justice Romans 13:4, and that includes a labor board established to expose unfairness and uphold what is lawful. Do this without bitterness or revenge, for it is written, Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath Romans 12:19, and let all bitterness, wrath, and anger be put away from you Ephesians 4:31, so that your heart remains pure before the Lord while you seek what is just.

We also pray that God will provide for you even as tips are low and sales are down, for our God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19.

We pray together now. Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, and we lift up this dear worker to Your throne of grace. Lord, You see the unpaid kitchen wages, the unequal shifts, the favoritism and the hardship of the graveyard hours. We ask You to convict the heart of this employer, to turn him from unjust ways and to give him a heart to do what is just and equal. Let him repay what is owed without delay and treat every worker with fairness and dignity. Lord, we ask that every shift assignment would be made with equity and without partiality, and that if there has been deceit or favoritism it would be exposed in truth before the labor board and before You, for nothing is hidden from Your sight. Give our friend favor, wisdom and a calm and gracious voice as he speaks the truth, and protect him from retaliation. Provide for his needs daily, strengthen him in the night hours, guard his heart from discouragement and bitterness, and let Your peace rule within him. We thank You that You hear the cry of the laborer and that You are a God of justice and mercy. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, amen.

We hear how discouraging this season at work has been. Wanting to be paid fairly for the hours you have worked and to be treated equally on shifts is a right and understandable need, and it makes sense you feel hurt when others seem favored while tips are down and you are carrying difficult shifts.

We are praying with you for wisdom and for provision while this is unresolved. One practical step that often helps with wage concerns is to keep a simple private record each day of hours worked, shifts assigned, tips received, and any pay stubs or messages about pay. If you decide to contact the labor board, having those dates and copies in one place can make it much clearer for them to understand what happened. A local legal aid office or worker help center can also talk through options without cost and help you know what information is needed.

It can also help to have one trusted person walking with you through this, whether a pastor, family member, or counselor, so you are not carrying the stress alone.

Father, we lift our brother to You in Jesus name. You see his work and his need. Give him wisdom for next steps, strength for each shift, and provision for his daily needs. Lead him to the right help and bring peace to his heart as he trusts You. Amen.

Your sorrowful case has been laid before the Lord and before His people, and we have heard your cry concerning withheld wages and unequal treatment in your place of labour. It is a grievous thing when the hire of the labourer is kept back, for the Scripture saith, Behold, the hire of the labourers which have reaped down your fields, which is of you kept back by fraud, crieth, and the cries of them which have reaped are entered into the ears of the Lord of sabaoth. The Lord is not deaf to such cries, and He beholds all that is done in secret.

We will pray for you that God, who is both just and the justifier, would deal with you and with your employer in righteousness. As it has been said, justice itself when once satisfied will not ask for more, and our God can be just and yet the justifier of him that believeth in Jesus. He loves justice and hates oppression, and He will in His own way make the right to appear. We ask Him to move upon the heart of your employer to render what is due, to deal fairly and without partiality, and to grant you favour and honesty in every shift appointed to you.

We pray also that if there be wrongdoing, the truth may be brought to light by lawful and orderly means, and that those set to oversee such matters may judge with impartiality. Yet we exhort you, even while you seek what is right through proper channels, to keep your heart from bitterness and to commit your cause unto God, who judgeth righteously. Labour as unto the Lord, not merely unto men, and let your conduct commend the gospel even in trial.

May the Lord provide for your daily bread, quiet your spirit where sales are low and the work is hard, and give you wisdom to know how to act with both meekness and firmness. May He guard you from discouragement and supply your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

We lift you now before the throne of grace.

O Father, merciful and just, Thou seest this Thy servant and the burden of unpaid labour and unequal handling. Thou knowest what has been withheld and what has been given to others. We beseech Thee to incline the heart of the employer to do justly and to love mercy, to pay what is owed and to show no partiality. Bring truth into the light, restrain all fraud and favouritism, and grant wisdom to all who must weigh these matters, including any board or authority that may be called upon. Provide for Thy servant in this season of want, sustain him in patience, keep him from wrath, and let him find his refuge and reward in Christ. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and righteousness. Amen.

Your request has been heard and we bring it before the Lord with you. You have described hard and painful treatment, wages withheld for kitchen work, being passed over while others are given specials and shifts, tips and sales down, and a sense that you are not dealt with equally or fairly. God sees this and He does not overlook injustice.

Scripture teaches that the Lord loves righteousness and justice, and that He has ordained courts and authorities to reflect His own concern for what is right. When a master withholds what is due, or makes unfair gain from a worker, it is not a small matter to God, for the laborer is worthy of his wages. Even here on earth we see judgments in houses and marketplaces and workplaces, how much more does the heavenly Judge care that justice be done.

We pray for you now in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to the Father and in whom alone is salvation.

Father, You see our brother in his kitchen work and his need. You know the hours labored, the wages owed, and the unfairness he has endured. We ask that You provide for his daily bread, sustain him where tips are hurting and sales are down, and give him strength to continue in honesty and diligence. Move upon the heart of his employer to do what is just and equal, to pay what is owed and to deal without favoritism. Where there has been unfair dealing, bring the truth into the light, so that what is hidden is made plain and what is crooked is made straight. Give wisdom to those who examine these matters at the labor board and to all in authority, that they may judge fairly. Guard our brother from bitterness and keep his heart at peace, trusting that even when men are unjust, You are not, and that You will in the end settle all accounts with mercy and righteousness. Grant him equal and fair opportunity in his shifts as You provide, and open a better door if it is Your will. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

Continue to walk faithfully, to work heartily as unto the Lord, to keep a clear record of hours and wages, and to seek lawful help calmly and truthfully where God has provided it. The Lord who sees in secret will not forget your labor, and we stand with you asking Him to expose what is wrong and to establish what is right.
