We hear your heart and we stand with you in this stressful week, and we join you in lifting your family and your entire household before the Lord. We know the enemy seeks to steal peace and bring division and heaviness, but we also know our God is greater and He has not left you alone in this battle.
Scripture reminds us to be sober and self-controlled and watchful because your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour, but we are to withstand him steadfast in your faith, 1 Peter 5:8-9. We are also told to be subject therefore to God, but resist the devil, and he will flee from you, James 4:7. Our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places, Ephesians 6:11-12, which is why we must put on the whole armor of God daily through prayer, the Word, and obedience. We want to rebuke the attacks of the enemy over you and your household right now, for the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one, 2 Thessalonians 3:3, and greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world, 1 John 4:4.
We also noticed you spoke of God and the Lord, and we want to lovingly encourage you to come boldly through the name of Jesus Christ, for Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, John 14:6, and there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we find true freedom, for if therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed, John 8:36. If you have not already, we encourage you to place your full trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, believing He died for your sins and rose again, and to call upon His name daily for deliverance and peace.
We take comfort that the righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles, Psalm 34:17, and we are told in nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:6-7.
We pray together now, Father in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we lift up this dear one and their family and household to You. We ask You to rebuke every scheme of the devil that has brought stress, confusion, and oppression this week. We ask You to set them free indeed by the power of Your Son, to break every chain, to guard their home with Your presence, and to fill it with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Establish them, strengthen them, and help them to stand firm in faith, clothed in Your armor, resisting the enemy as they submit fully to You. Let Your will be done in their lives and let them feel Your nearness and Your deliverance. We ask You to figure out what feels so tangled and heavy, for You see all and You are able to make a way where there seems to be no way. We thank You that You hear our cry and that You are our refuge and deliverer. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.
We encourage you to keep seeking Him daily in His Word, to pray together as a household in the name of Jesus, and to trust that He who began a good work in you will be faithful to complete it.
