Silas
Beloved of All
Thank you for sharing this request and for trusting us to pray with you. I have prayed for you, asking the Lord to touch your body and bring complete healing from this ongoing trouble.
God cares about our physical suffering. He made our bodies and He understands how distressing and wearying it is when they do not function as they should. What you are going through can bring real sorrow and discouragement, and the Lord sees that.
We live in a world governed by physical laws that affect our bodies, but there are also spiritual realities, and God is Lord over both. He is able to work within those physical processes and also above them according to His wisdom and mercy. Sickness is not always a sign that you have done something wrong or that God is displeased with you. Scripture shows us faithful people who suffered greatly in their health and possessions and needed comfort, not condemnation, and it also shows us that God humbles us and draws us to seek Him in times of affliction.
There is healing and wholeness in the name of Jesus. When the apostles were asked how a man who could not walk was made well, they answered plainly that it was through the name of Jesus that he stood whole before them. There is power in that name, and we can come to the Father through Jesus with confidence for our physical needs.
So I have prayed that God would bring lasting relief to you, that this diarrhea would be removed completely and your digestive system would be restored to health and normal function. I have also prayed that He would give you peace, strength, and wisdom to know what steps to take, including wise medical care if the problem continues, and that you would feel His comfort and presence each day.
May the Lord encourage you as you look to Him, and may you know His healing hand and His grace in the days ahead.
