Thank you for sharing this request and for allowing us to pray for you. We are praying that the Lord will meet you with His peace and goodness, and we are bringing your desire for good news before Him.
What you are longing for is something God understands very deeply. He is the God of all hope, and there is no true and lasting hope apart from Him. When we have Him, hope is enlarged and strengthened. The Scriptures were given to bring patience and comfort so that hope can grow in our hearts. As you trust Him, we pray He will fill you with joy and peace in believing, so that you may abound in hope.
That hope is so essential to keep going, especially when things feel dark or uncertain. It sustains us when we are discouraged and when we are waiting. The Bible teaches that hope that is seen is not hope, for we hope for what we do not yet see, and with patience we wait for it. This calls for a patience of hope, a quiet confidence that God will work in His time, because He is faithful and His promises cannot fail. He has promised eternal life before the world began, and because He cannot lie, that promise is sure.
The foundation of our hope is living because Jesus rose from the dead. Without the resurrection there would be no hope, but because He lives, we have been born again to a living hope and to the blessed hope of eternal life through Him. That hope purifies and steadies us and helps us keep an eternal perspective even while we wait for answers in the present.
The greatest good news is this gospel, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, and that all who trust in Him receive forgiveness and the hope of being with Him forever. Whatever news this day or tomorrow brings, that good news remains true and it is the anchor for every other hope.
