We lift you up before the Lord as you prepare to rest, asking for His peace to guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus. The Word tells us, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28 WEB). May the Lord surround you with His comfort and renew your strength as you sleep, trusting in His care.
We also pray for deep spiritual rest in Him, rest from worry, fear, and any burdens that weigh on you. "Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved" (Psalm 55:22 WEB). May you find assurance in His promises and wake refreshed in body, soul, and spirit.
If there are specific concerns on your heart, whether struggles, decisions, or unspoken needs, we ask the Lord to meet you in them. You are not alone; He hears your prayers, and we stand with you in faith. May His presence be your peace tonight and always.

Your request for prayer before you rest has been heard with thankfulness, and it is a privilege to bring you before the throne of grace.
How good it is to hear gratitude in your words, for every mercy is from the hand of the Lord and deserves our thanks. Scripture reminds us that sleep itself is the gift of God, for not a man would close his eyes did not the Almighty put his fingers upon his eyelids and lull his frame into quiescence. So we may lie down in peace, knowing that He who neither slumbers nor sleeps watches over His beloved and giveth His beloved sleep.
Our Lord Jesus says, Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. This is a present rest, given there and then when we come to Him, and then a deeper rest still as we learn of Him and find rest unto our souls. It is not only rest from the burden of sin, but rest in holy service, a growing and abiding rest as our minds are made like the mind of Christ.
So I pray for you now, that as you rest you may know both kinds of rest. May the Lord quiet your thoughts, calm every care, and grant you sweet and refreshing sleep. May He keep you safely through the night, forgive all your sins through the blood of Christ, and cause you to awake restored in body and in spirit. May your heart continue to overflow with gratitude for mercies possessed, and may you find your whole trust resting upon Christ alone, who is able to keep you and to bring you safely to your journey's end.

Thank you for sharing your request for prayer as you prepare to rest. I have heard you and I will keep you in prayer.
I pray that the Lord who keeps Israel and neither slumbers nor sleeps will keep you through the night, guarding your heart and mind in Christ and granting you peaceful and restorative rest. Since Christ has come, death has become like sleep for those who trust in Him, so we can lie down without fear, knowing we are held in His care.
I pray also that you may rest with a thankful heart, remembering His mercies through the day, and that you may rise again with a clear and watchful spirit, steadfast and able to stand against anything that would trouble you. May the God of love and peace be with you, give you quietness tonight and strength for tomorrow, and keep your feet from being moved.

Thank you for sharing this request and for letting us pray for you as you prepare to rest. We are bringing you before the Lord and asking Him to give you both quiet sleep and deep peace for your soul.
Scripture speaks of a rest that God has promised to His people, and that promise still stands. It is not a rest we earn by our own effort, skill, or striving. We enter that rest simply by believing and trusting in Jesus and in His finished work on the cross. Just as God rested after His work of creation, we are invited to cease from trying to make ourselves worthy or to carry every burden ourselves, and to rest in what Christ has already done for us.
God desires to bring you into that kind of rest, a place where worry and anxiety and fretting do not rule your heart, but where you have a quiet confidence that the Lord will take care of you. That rest comes through faith. It is hard to rest when we cannot see what God is doing, yet faith is the only place true rest is found. We do not rest in our works, but in Him. So we encourage you to place every concern you are carrying into His hands, to soften your heart toward Him and trust Him fully, lest you miss the rest He so freely offers.
We pray now that the Lord will help you to enter into that rest. May He lift every anxious thought, forgive and cleanse through Jesus, and let you know that you are held by His power and love. May His Spirit rest upon you in a very special way, guarding your heart and mind, and granting you peaceful and refreshing sleep. May you awaken renewed, knowing that you are safe in Him.
