Beloved of All
Dear Lord, thank you for your goodness. I pray for good rest, for ###’s health, for my ###, for healing for my ###, and against lustful thoughts

We hear your heartfelt plea and come before the throne of grace together, lifting up these concerns in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach the Father and find true healing, rest, and deliverance.

First, we thank God for His goodness, for His mercies that are new every morning, and for His faithfulness that endures forever. "The Lord is my shepherd; I shall lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul" (Psalm 23:1-3). We pray for deep, restorative rest for you and for ###, that your bodies, minds, and spirits would be renewed by the peace of God that surpasses all understanding. May you both find true Sabbath rest in Him, trusting that He is your provider and sustainer.

For ###’s health, we stand on the promise that "by His stripes we are healed" (Isaiah 53:5). We pray for complete healing, spirit, soul, and body, believing that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). We rebuke every spirit of infirmity and sickness in Jesus' name, declaring that ### is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14) and that God’s will is for wholeness and vitality.

For your ###, we pray for God’s protection, wisdom, and favor. Whether this is a spouse, child, family member, or friend, we ask that God’s hand would be upon them, guiding their steps and covering them with His grace. If this is a spouse, we pray for a marriage that honors God, built on love, trust, and mutual submission as unto the Lord (Ephesians 5:22-33). If this is a child, we pray for their spiritual growth and protection from the snares of the enemy. Whatever the relationship, we ask that God would strengthen the bonds of love and unity in accordance with His Word.

For the healing of your ###, we declare that God is the Great Physician. We pray for emotional, physical, and spiritual healing, trusting that He collects every tear in a bottle and knows the depths of every pain (Psalm 56:8). We rebuke the spirit of despair and speak life and hope over this situation, believing that God works all things together for good for those who love Him (Romans 8:28).

Now, regarding the struggle with lustful thoughts, we must address this with both truth and compassion. The Bible is clear that lust is a sin that wars against the soul (1 Peter 2:11) and that we are called to flee from sexual immorality (1 Corinthians 6:18). Lustful thoughts, if left unchecked, can lead to actions that dishonor God and harm ourselves and others. Jesus Himself warned, "But I tell you that everyone who gazes at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart" (Matthew 5:28). This is a serious matter, but we serve a God who is faithful to provide a way of escape (1 Corinthians 10:13).

We rebuke the spirit of lust in the name of Jesus and command it to leave. We pray that you would take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5) and fill your mind with whatever is true, honorable, just, pure, lovely, and commendable (Philippians 4:8). We encourage you to guard your heart diligently (Proverbs 4:23), to avoid situations or media that provoke lustful thoughts, and to seek accountability with a trusted brother or sister in Christ. If this struggle is tied to pornography, we urge you to confess it, repent, and seek help, for "if we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9).

We also lift up the importance of walking in the Spirit, for it is by the Spirit that we put to death the deeds of the flesh (Romans 8:13). Fill your heart and mind with God’s Word, meditate on it day and night, and let it transform you from the inside out (Romans 12:2). Replace lustful thoughts with prayer, worship, and thanksgiving, for "the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds" (2 Corinthians 10:4).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, the only name by which we can be saved and approach Your throne. We thank You for Your goodness and mercy, and we ask that You would grant deep, restorative rest to this dear one and to ###. Refresh their bodies, minds, and spirits, Lord, and let them experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding.

We pray for complete healing for ###’s health and for the healing of ###. You are the God who heals, and we stand on Your promises, declaring that by Your stripes, they are healed. We rebuke every spirit of sickness, infirmity, and despair, and we speak life and wholeness over them in Jesus’ name.

Father, we lift up ### to You, asking that You would draw them close to Your heart. Whether this is a spouse, child, or loved one, we pray that Your love would surround them, Your wisdom would guide them, and Your protection would cover them. Strengthen the bonds of love and unity in their relationships, and let Your will be done in their lives.

Lord, we address the struggle with lustful thoughts with the truth of Your Word. We rebuke the spirit of lust and command it to leave in Jesus’ name. We pray that this dear one would take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ and fill their mind with things that are pure, lovely, and honorable. Give them the strength to flee from temptation and the wisdom to guard their heart. Surround them with accountability and support, and let them walk in the freedom that comes from knowing You.

Father, we ask that You would fill their heart with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in purity and holiness. Let Your Word dwell in them richly, transforming their mind and renewing their spirit. We declare that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37), and we pray that they would experience victory over this struggle.

We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for the power of the name of Jesus. We trust in Your promises and believe that You are working all things together for good. Strengthen this dear one, Lord, and let them know that they are not alone. You are with them, and Your grace is sufficient for every need.

In Jesus’ mighty name we pray, Amen.

We are thankful you wrote and that you started with gratitude for God's goodness. That posture matters, especially when you are carrying several concerns at once.

We are praying with you for good rest, for health and healing for your loved ones and for yourself, and for strength against lustful thoughts. It makes sense to bring all of these together, they all touch how weary or settled we feel each day.

When unwanted sexual thoughts come, it can help to have a simple plan decided beforehand rather than trying to figure it out in the moment. Many find it helpful to notice early, turn away quickly, bring a brief honest prayer to God, and move toward something good and present in front of you. If you have one trusted, mature believer who shares your values, staying honestly connected with him and letting him know how you are doing can make that daily turning much less lonely. Underneath those thoughts there is often a deeper longing for closeness or comfort, and God cares about that longing too.

For rest, keeping a steady wind-down time at night and bringing the day's worries to God before sleep can gently support the prayer you are already praying. For ongoing health needs, please keep staying in touch with trusted medical support alongside prayer.

Father, we thank You for Your goodness to our brother. We ask You for quiet rest tonight, for Your care over his loved ones who need healing, and for a clear mind and a clean heart when temptations come. Give him wisdom for each next step and the comfort of walking close with You. In Jesus' name, amen.

We join you in thanking the Lord for His goodness, for every mercy flows from His gracious hand and His mercies are new every morning.

Your desire for good rest is a prayer which Christ Himself invites. He says, Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. This is a present rest, not only rest after death or after long probation, but rest given when we come to Jesus, there and then. There is also a further rest which is found as we learn of Him and take His yoke upon us. It is rest on the wing, rest in motion, rest in service, not with the yoke cast off but with His easy yoke upon us. May the Lord grant you this double rest, the rest He gives and the rest you find as you walk with Him, a deep and abiding rest for your soul. Trust and you shall rest, and if you have known this rest before and have lost the sweetness of it, return unto your rest, for there is no true rest out of Christ.

We bring before the Lord those dear to you for whom you ask health and healing. The Scripture speaks of the tree of life whose leaves were for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. His very leaves, His words, His touches, His promises, have virtue in them. When the Sun of Righteousness arises with healing in His wings, pardon and healing are as one, for He heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds. We pray that the Lord will lay His healing hand upon those you love, that He will restore strength, relieve suffering, and make His grace sufficient in weakness. Whether His healing comes by immediate relief or by sustaining grace through trial, may you see His abundant healing power and give Him praise.

And with you we pray, Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Lust when it is conceived brings forth sin, and sin when it is finished brings forth death. It is a perilous thing, and it is right for the Christian to pray daily against it. God can keep you from staining your garments and from sliding under temptation. He can preserve you in purity and uprightness, for sanctification is the great separator of the Christian from the world. Do not go into temptation, but watch and pray, and keep your mind stayed upon Christ. Let your mind be like the mind of Christ, and you shall find rest unto your soul even in the midst of the battle. Flee those things which stir unholy desire, feed your soul upon the Word, and look to the Lord Jesus Christ for all things, for He is alive and near as your familiar Friend.

We pray for you now, that the Lord who is goodness itself would grant you peaceful sleep, health and healing for those you have named, and victory over every lustful thought through the power of His Spirit. May He keep you pure in heart, charitable in life, and at perfect rest in Him who has promised, Ye shall find rest unto your souls.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer has been received and we give thanks with you for the goodness of God. We join you in asking the Lord for what you have laid before Him.

We pray that He will grant you good and peaceful rest. Scripture reminds us that He who keeps Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps, and He watches over His children. At the same time we are called to guard ourselves and to shake off the sleep of carelessness, so that we may be watchful and sober in soul. May the Lord grant you rest for your body and wakefulness for your heart, that you may walk clearly before Him.

We also bring before God your requests for health and healing for those you love. He is faithful and merciful, and He hears the prayers of His people. Even when answers are delayed, He uses that waiting to draw us closer to Himself, teaching us to persevere and to flee continually to Him as to a Father. We ask Him to lay His healing hand upon those who are unwell and to sustain them and you with patience and hope.

You also asked for help against lustful thoughts. This is a struggle common to many, and the word of God tells us that no temptation has overtaken us except what is common to humanity, and God is faithful. He will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you can bear, but with the temptation He will also make a way of escape, that you may be able to endure it. Lust is like a drunkenness of the soul that clouds the mind and makes us see things as in a dream. Therefore we are called to be sober and watchful, to turn away from what feeds that desire, and to fix our eyes on what is true and pure. When such thoughts arise, turn at once to Christ in prayer, ask for His strength, and seek the way of escape He provides, whether it is to turn your attention, to flee the occasion, or to call upon a brother or sister for help.

We pray that God will give you grace to stand steadfast and unmovable, to grow in self control, and to find your joy in Him. May He keep your foot from being moved, grant you peace in sleep and strength in waking hours, bring health and healing according to His wise will, and cleanse and guard your mind through Jesus Christ our Lord, through whom alone we have salvation and access to the Father.
