Prayer request

Your desire for financial relief and a steady salary is understandable, for the body's needs press upon us daily. Yet consider where true security lies. If you hoard what you receive, you will surely lose it; but if you disperse it, you keep it forever. The treasure you entrust to God no one can steal, and He pays an interest greater than the principal. Lend to Him who hungers for your sake, who is poor that you might become rich. For nothing is more base than the usury of this world, where others' calamities become your traffic, but lending to God through care for the distressed brings life instead of death.

Do not imagine that adorning a church house surpasses aiding a brother in need, for he is more truly a temple. If you are in trouble, use this delay not merely to seek comfort in relief, but to gather the fruit of amendment. You have been freed from sin's chain, not to grow listless, but to serve in newness of spirit. Let this hardship rouse you to examine the heart: are you trusting in the salary alone, or are you making God your refuge? The race we run is not for ease but for a kingdom, and the man who does not run well risks falling into fire.

So pray for provision, yes, but also lend what little you have to God through mercy, and repent where you have loved mammon. Make full use of this season, that when the trumpet sounds and the earth shakes, you may be found among those taken up, not left behind.

Thank you for letting me share this burden with you. I am praying that the Lord will open a dependable source of income for you and that those responsible for your wages will act quickly and justly.

A long delay in pay is a real weight, and the Lord does not treat it lightly. When the poor brought the offering allowed for those with very little, even two turtledoves, it was received. Your need is not invisible to him, and your prayers are not too small to offer.

I do ask you to let this season search your heart. The prophets warned people who were working and earning yet never seemed to have enough, as if their money bags had holes. The call was to put God first and bring the first fruits to him. I am not saying your hardship is punishment, but every financial strain invites us to make sure God, not money, is at the center. That kind of surrender is where real peace begins.

I also recall believers who were themselves in deep poverty and great affliction, yet grace produced in them a surprising generosity. I pray that same grace would guard your heart right now, so that fear does not make you hoard what little comes and so that worship remains your first response.

Zacharias prayed for years and then struggled to believe the answer when it came, but God had heard him all along. Do not let the delay talk you out of trusting. Keep asking, keep acting wisely, and keep obeying what you already know to do.

Father, you see this need and the strain of unpaid wages. Please provide daily bread, open the right financial sources, and release what is owed. Give wisdom, protection from fear, and a heart that seeks you before anything else. In Jesus' name.
