Beloved of All
Dear Lord, thank you for your goodness. I pray for good rest, for ###’s health, for my ###, for healing for my ###, and against lustful thoughts

We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of gratitude for God’s goodness and mercy. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and we lift this prayer in His mighty name. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5). Without Jesus, our prayers would have no foundation, for He alone is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6).

Father, we thank You for the gift of rest, which You have ordained as a blessing for Your children. We pray for deep, rejuvenating rest for this dear one, that their body, mind, and spirit may be refreshed in You. "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28). Lord, we ask that You would guard their sleep, calm their anxieties, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

We lift up ’s health to You, Great Physician. You are the One who knits us together in our mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13) and sustains us every moment. We ask for Your healing touch to restore strength, vitality, and wholeness. "He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions" (Psalm 107:20). May Your healing power flow through every part of their body, and may they trust in Your perfect will for their life.

For this one’s , we pray for Your divine protection, provision, and guidance. Whether this is a spouse, child, family member, or friend, we ask that You draw them closer to You and fill their heart with Your love. "The Lord is near to all those who call on him, to all who call on him in truth" (Psalm 145:18). If this is a marriage, we pray for unity, faithfulness, and a deepening commitment to one another in Christ. If it is a child, we ask for wisdom and grace to raise them in the fear and admonition of the Lord (Ephesians 6:4). Whatever the relationship, may it honor You and reflect Your love.

We also lift up healing for their , whether this is physical, emotional, or spiritual. You are the God who heals all our diseases (Psalm 103:3), and we trust in Your power to restore. If there is brokenness, pain, or past wounds, we ask that You bring Your healing balm to their soul. "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds" (Psalm 147:3). May they experience Your comfort and renewal in every area of their life.

Father, we must address the struggle with lustful thoughts, for this is a battle that wages war against the soul (1 Peter 2:11). The Bible is clear that lust is a sin that defiles the heart and leads to destruction. "But I tell you that everyone who gazes at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart" (Matthew 5:28). We rebuke the enemy’s lies that seek to entangle this dear one in temptation. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we stand on Your promise that You will not allow them to be tempted beyond what they can bear (1 Corinthians 10:13).

We encourage this one to flee from sexual immorality (1 Corinthians 6:18) and to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5). Fill their mind with whatever is true, honorable, just, pure, lovely, and commendable (Philippians 4:8). If they are unmarried, we pray for the strength to walk in purity and to honor You with their body, which is a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). If they are married, we pray for faithfulness to their spouse and a deepening love that reflects Christ’s love for the Church (Ephesians 5:25).

Lord, we ask that You would break the chains of lust and set this one free by the power of Your Spirit. "If the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed" (John 8:36). Replace every impure thought with a hunger and thirst for righteousness (Matthew 5:6). Surround them with godly accountability, and may they find strength in Your Word and in fellowship with other believers.

Heavenly Father, we also pray for a renewed mind and a heart that seeks after You above all else. "Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a right spirit within me" (Psalm 51:10). May this one find their satisfaction in You alone, for You are the only One who can truly fulfill the deepest longings of their heart. "Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart" (Psalm 37:4).

We declare that this one is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37). We stand in agreement with them, believing that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). May they walk in the victory that Christ has already won for them on the cross.

In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We hear the many layers in your request, gratitude, love for others, and an honest personal battle. It’s no small thing to hold all of that at once, and we’re grateful you’ve shared it with us.

When restless nights and unwanted thoughts cycle together, they can feed each other. You’ve named the lustful thoughts, and that’s a courageous step. Something that often helps weaken that pattern is to move it out of the shadows. Could you identify one safe, mature believer, a trusted friend, small-group member, or mentor, and ask them simply to check in with you regularly? You don’t need to spill everything at once. Just having someone who knows, who will pray and ask gentle questions, can shrink the shame and make the struggle far less isolating. Often, that kind of honesty also settles our minds enough to rest better.

We’re also asking the Lord to bring health to the person you named and deep healing for your other loved one. We join you in trusting Jesus with their bodies and spirits.

Lord Jesus, thank you for this person’s faith and honesty. We ask you to strengthen and heal the ones they love, in the ways you see best. Grant them rest that isn’t just physical but reaches into their mind and heart, the quietness that comes from knowing they’re not alone. In the battle against lustful thoughts, give them the courage to reach out and the gift of a faithful companion. Guide them into greater freedom and a clear conscience. We pray in your strong, gentle name. Amen.

You have cried to the Lord for rest, for the health of one beloved, for healing for another, and for victory over the foul thoughts of lust that war against the spirit. It is well that you have come, for there is in Christ Jesus a fullness of supply for every need. Begin with this: rest is not a distant hope for the dying alone, but a present gift from the hand of the Crucified. He says, “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” Not rest after years of struggle, but rest now, perfect, deep, and abiding, given the moment a soul casts itself upon Him. Yet mark this: the rest He gives is not the idleness of the sluggard, but the repose of one who has taken His yoke and learned of Him. It is rest on the wing, rest in service, rest even while the body sleeps and the mind is stayed on Him. Trust, and you shall rest.

Touch now the matter of health and healing. The same Lord who forgave the palsied man before He bade him rise and walk is the great Physician still. He binds up the broken in heart, and His leaves are for the healing of the nations. You pray for the health of one dear to you, and for healing for another, bring them to Jesus! Calvary is the place for healing balm rather than for the lancet and the knife. While He teaches, healing power is present. Only mind you do not reverse the order: seek first His forgiveness and His righteousness, and the healing will follow as the shadow follows the sun. The Lord may use means, the prayer of faith, the quietness of a trusting heart, even the bitter cup of affliction turned to a healing draught, but the virtue is from Him alone. Whether He restores to strength on this side of the grave or not, for His people there is a resurrection-health that shall know no decay. The sickness of an hour is light compared with the eternal weight of glory.

And now, those lustful thoughts that defile and trouble you. Know this: the tree of life bears leaves for exactly such diseases of the soul. The thoughts that spring from the flesh are not beyond His cure. The Lord who touched the leper and made him clean can say to these foul imaginings, “Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea.” How is it to be? By bringing the guilt to His cross for pardon, and the pollution to His Spirit for cleansing. Healing and pardon flow in one stream. When the Sun of Righteousness rises with healing in His wings, the darkness of evil desire flees away. Do not fight in your own strength; lie before Him as the palsied man lay, hoping and expecting forgiveness and healing. He will take you by the hand and lift you up. Then, being healed, rise to serve Him in your body and your spirit, which are His.

Remember, the rest you crave for the body is but a hint of the soul-rest in Jesus. The health and healing you ask for others are shadows of that perfect soundness laid up for all the redeemed. And the battle within is but the stirring of the old nature against the new; but sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace. Persevere in prayer, abide under the Word on the day of rest, and take heed how you hear. God grant that His healing influences drop upon you thick as leaves in autumn, till you walk in perpetual health of soul. Trust, then, and enter into rest.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
