It's hard to find help to look for a work from home job I want to make my own money out of my drawings

We hear your heart and understand the desire to use the talents God has given you to provide for yourself and honor Him through your work. It is good to seek honest labor, especially when it aligns with the gifts the Lord has placed in your hands. Scripture tells us, "Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might" (Ecclesiastes 9:10), and "Let him who stole steal no more; but rather let him labor, working with his hands the thing that is good, that he may have something to give to him who has need" (Ephesians 4:28).

However, we must also remind you that our ultimate provision comes from the Lord. Jesus taught us, "Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well" (Matthew 6:31-33). Trust in His timing and His plan for your life, even as you actively seek opportunities.

If you are looking for work-from-home opportunities, we encourage you to seek those that are honorable, ethical, and align with biblical values. Avoid any ventures that may compromise your faith or integrity. Pray for wisdom and discernment as you explore options, and ask the Lord to open doors that no one can shut (Revelation 3:8).

We also want to gently remind you that our help and identity are found in Christ alone. If you have not yet placed your trust in Him, we urge you to consider the salvation He offers. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6). It is only through His name that we have access to God and the promise of eternal life. If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved (Romans 10:9).

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this dear one who seeks to use their talents for Your glory and their provision. Lord, You have given them the gift of drawing, and we ask that You open doors of opportunity for them to use this gift in a way that honors You. Provide them with work that is fulfilling, honest, and aligned with Your will. Give them wisdom and discernment as they seek out opportunities, and guard their heart against discouragement or anxiety.

Father, we also ask that You draw them closer to You. If they have not yet surrendered their life to Jesus, we pray that Your Holy Spirit would convict their heart and lead them to salvation. Help them to understand that true fulfillment and provision come from You alone. Strengthen their faith and trust in You, even as they wait for Your timing.

Lord, we rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or laziness that may be hindering their progress. We declare that they are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and that You have a plan and a purpose for their life. Equip them with the skills, resources, and connections they need to succeed. Surround them with godly counsel and encouragement, and let them walk in the confidence of Your love and provision.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Keep your eyes on Him, and He will direct your path (Proverbs 3:5-6). Lord, we thank You for this person’s artistic ability and the honest longing to make something beautiful that also brings a living. Give them steady hope in the waiting, creative ideas for how to begin, and connections that offer real help. Keep discouragement from taking root, and let each small step lead toward the provision they need. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, so that I can trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

If the Lord does not help you, where can I find help for you? You look to your own skill with the pencil, and you seek a work that may be done within your home, that you might earn your own bread. It is a common cry, and no shame is in it, for the laborer is worthy of his hire. Yet I must press upon your soul this solemn truth: there is a help that man cannot give, and a work that no earthly master can appoint. Until you have learned to rest upon Christ alone for the saving of your soul, all other toil is but the wearying of yourself with a dream that brings no true comfort. You have destroyed yourself, in your works your help must be found in Another, from the first to the last.

But mark this also: the work of Christ in us does not exempt us from work, but rather excites it. The Holy Spirit’s work does not supersede human effort. If you have been given a talent for drawing, it is not a trifle to be buried in the earth. I must work the works of Him that sent me while it is day; the night cometh when no man can work. Your necessity to labor is not set aside by prayer, but prayer must be the engine that drives your seeking. Do not wander, babbling of a treasure that exists only in dreams, while you reject the One who comes to help. There is a crying need for single-handed men and women, all ablaze with consecrated fervor, who give themselves to the sphere God has appointed. Let your art be done unto the Lord, and let your request for daily bread be made known with thanksgiving. Come, then, to the supper of His grace, saying, “Lord, I believe; help Thou mine unbelief.” All things are ready for those who come by faith, yes, even the opening of a door for your hand to find provision.

Yet be not deceived: if the Lord does not help you, your own efforts will vanish into confusion. You may seek help from the threshing-floor or the winepress of human patronage, but it is God alone who gives the power to get wealth. Flee, then, from any self-trust that is the wrath to come for the ungodly. Trust yourself on Christ alone, and then in patience and comfort from the Scriptures you may await His timing. The same Lord who has removed your sin as far as east from west can also gather the four winds of His breath to breathe upon your endeavors. Continue in the good work, though you face opposition; the night of forced idleness may draw near, so labor now with all your might. And if there is any success, any praise, lay it all at the Redeemer’s feet. Come, from any of the four winds, O Breath! Only come upon this seeking soul, and let not the infirmity of our weak faith hinder the bountiful hand of the Most High.

You seek a way to earn your own bread through the skill of your hands, and the search is hard. This is no small cross. Yet call to mind how the Master called fishermen, mending their broken nets, men of no account in the world's eyes, and made them fishers of men. He did not despise honest poverty or simple labor. So your desire for work is not to be scorned, but let your heart be careful. For if we pursue gain with restless anxiety, we may forget whose we are.

Consider the Apostle, who labored with his own hands and yet refused to let his living be a snare. So work and draw, for these gifts come from the Creator, but do not measure your worth by what you earn. The praise that comes from men is fleeting; seek rather the praise that comes from God. And when you toil, remember that the whole creation waits for the glorious liberty of the children of God. Your daily grind, if offered up in faith, becomes a seed of that hope.

Above all, do not let the search for income strangle your soul. If you love Christ, keep His commandments; this is more pleasing to Him than any success. You have this day, this hour, before the arena of life is dissolved. Use it not only to seek wages but to sow mercy. Give to the poor, visit the sick, spread your own table though it be humble. The oil of gladness will flow from such things more than from any fountain. And when weariness and discouragement press upon you, recall that you are not yet gone to the grave where none shall confess. Today you stand in the race; struggle now, and God will see your hidden patience.

Set your hand to your drawings, but entrust the outcome to Him who clothes the lilies. Pray that He open a door, but pray also for a meek and quiet spirit. For the time is short, and the Judge is at the door, whose strict search looks first upon purity of life. Let no root of bitterness or envy toward those who prosper take hold of you; rather, forgive, and show kindness to those who vex you. Then, even in a lowly station, you will be a friend of God, and that is wealth enough.

It is deeply frustrating when you have a skill, a desire to work, and a path in mind, yet the practical help to get there seems nowhere to be found. When the longing to create with your own hands and provide for yourself is met with closed doors, the loneliness of that search can feel like sitting among ashes, scraping at a sore that won’t heal. You want to build something good, and it feels like the support you need has been stripped away.

In that quiet struggle, it is easy for voices to rise up, sometimes from others and sometimes from within, that misinterpret your situation entirely. There is a danger in judging by partial knowledge. A friend might insinuate that if you were just more righteous, the path would open, that your hidden faults are the obstacles. They see the surface and speak confidently about things they do not know the full story of. You know your desire to work is not wickedness. You are not trying to defraud anyone. You are simply asking for a chance to use what God has placed in you.

Do not let those false accusations take root. God sees the heart that wants to create and steward talent faithfully. Your work is not a side issue to Him; He is the one who first gave artistic skill, filling craftsmen with wisdom and understanding for all kinds of artistic work when His tabernacle was to be built. The desire to make something and trade it for your daily needs is good. It is part of the way He made us in His image, as workers and sub-creators.

Yet when the help is delayed, the plea becomes the same as the old cry: "Is not my help in me?" and "To him that is afflicted, pity should be showed from his friend." You are looking for someone to see your situation clearly and actually do something to help you move forward. It is not weakness to ask God for that. Pour out the details before Him, asking not only for a job but for a person or an opening that will treat your need with genuine compassion, not mere words.

Be cautious, though, of the counsel of despair, that whisper which says God is holding back something truly good from you, that He is not fair. That is the oldest lie, twisting the character of God by suggesting His restrictions are meant to limit your joy. The reality is often the opposite. A door that remains closed for now is not necessarily a locked gate keeping you from a feast; it can be a fence keeping you from a pit you cannot see. His timing often protects us while it prepares us.

Right now, the challenge is to hold onto the truth that God is just and that He cares about your work, even while the earthly help hasn’t arrived. Do not base your doctrine on the misery of the moment. The feelings of isolation and the seeming silence do not mean He has withdrawn His hand from your talent. It is a dark confusion to think He is simply out to terrify you or that He is searching after your sin as the cause of the delay. Jesus Christ is the ultimate answer to the cry for a daysman, one who can lay His hand on both God and us, bridging the gap. Because of Him, we can approach boldly, not as a suspect under investigation, but as a child seeking daily bread.

So continue bringing your drawings and your need before the Lord. Ask Him to lead you to the right help, the right pair of eyes that will see the value of what you do. Ask for patience while you wait, not the patience of passive resignation, but the active patience that keeps sharpening the skill while waiting for the door to open. You are not asking for a handout born of folly. You are asking to trade honest work for an honest wage. That is a desire God can honor, and He is not far from you even when the help is hard to find.
