We come before the Lord with your requests, lifting them up in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and can find true peace, rest, and protection.
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the gift of sleep, a blessing You have ordained for our bodies to rest and be renewed. We ask that You grant this dear sister the fullness of 8 hours of sleep tonight and every night, that her body may be refreshed and her mind at peace. Your Word reminds us in Psalm 127:2, "It is vain for you to rise up early, to stay up late, eating the bread of toil; for he gives sleep to his loved ones." Lord, we trust in Your provision and ask that You remove any anxiety, worry, or restlessness that may be hindering her rest. Calm her heart and mind with the peace that surpasses all understanding, as You promise in Philippians 4:6-7.
We also pray for her health and safety, Lord. Guard her from illness, injury, and all forms of harm. Strengthen her body, mind, and spirit, and let her walk in the fullness of the life You have called her to. We know that You are our refuge and fortress, our God in whom we trust (Psalm 91:2). Cover her with Your feathers, and under Your wings may she find refuge. Your faithfulness is her shield and rampart.
Father, we lift up her husband to You, asking that You would keep him far from temptation. Strengthen him in his faith and walk with You, that he may resist the schemes of the enemy. Your Word warns us in 1 Corinthians 10:13, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it." Lord, we ask that You would create a hedge of protection around him, that he may be surrounded by godly influences and accountability. Help him to flee from sin and to cling to You, the source of all righteousness.
We also pray for the safety of their children, Lord. Keep them under Your watchful eye, and guard them from all harm, both seen and unseen. May they grow in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man (Luke 2:52). Protect them from the dangers of this world, and draw their hearts close to You.
Father, we ask for Your blessing upon their shop and their financial needs. Provide for them abundantly, so that they may meet their quotas and pay off their debts. Your Word tells us in Matthew 6:33, "But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." Lord, we ask that You would open doors of opportunity for them, and that You would grant them wisdom in their business dealings. Help them to work diligently, as unto You, and to trust in Your provision.
Lord, we also want to gently remind this sister of the importance of bringing all things before You in the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name by which we can be saved, and no other name by which we can approach the throne of grace. Acts 4:12 tells us, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" We encourage her to continue to seek You, to trust in You, and to find her strength in Jesus alone.
We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
May this sister find comfort in knowing that the Lord hears her prayers and is working all things together for her good. We encourage her to cast all her cares upon Him, for He cares for her (1 Peter 5:7). Let her rest in the assurance that God is her provider, protector, and peace. May she continue to seek Him first in all things, and may He bless her abundantly according to His riches in glory.
