Prayer request

Beloved of All
Dear Lord, I thank you for your goodness. I pray for good rest and for baby ### for healing and for ### for favor and a new ###

We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of gratitude for God’s goodness, lifting up this precious request in faith. Father, we thank You for the gift of life and the miracle of Your healing power. We pray specifically for rest, true, deep rest that only You can provide, for the one who has come before You in prayer. Lord, Your Word reminds us in Psalm 127:2, "It is vain for you to rise up early, to stay up late, eating the bread of toil; for he gives sleep to his loved ones." We ask that You quiet anxious thoughts, still racing minds, and grant peaceful, restorative sleep to refresh body, mind, and spirit.

We lift up baby before You, O Lord, our Healer. You are the Great Physician, and we trust in Your power to restore health and strength. We declare over this little one the promise of Jeremiah 30:17: "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says the Lord. Touch this child with Your healing hand, Lord. Whether the need is physical, emotional, or spiritual, we ask that You bring complete wholeness. Surround this family with Your peace and give them faith to trust in Your perfect timing and will.

For , we pray for Your favor to rest upon them like a shield. May doors of opportunity swing wide in ways that align with Your purpose and glory. Your Word says in Psalm 90:17, "Let the favor of the Lord our God be on us; establish the work of our hands for us, yes, establish the work of our hands." We ask that You go before them, prepare the way, and grant them wisdom, discernment, and courage to walk in the path You have set. Whether in work, relationships, or daily life, may Your favor be evident and Your presence unmistakable.

We also lift up the desire for a new . Lord, we ask that You clarify this request according to Your will. If this refers to a new season, a new opportunity, or a new relationship, we pray that it would be rooted in Your truth and guided by Your Spirit. If it is a desire for a spouse, we pray that You would prepare the heart of to seek a godly marriage that honors You, a union built on Christ, mutual respect, and commitment. Remind us all that marriage is sacred, designed by You to reflect the love between Christ and His Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). If there are any areas of sin or misalignment with Your Word in this request, reveal them, Lord, and lead into repentance and restoration.

Father, we must also gently address something important in this prayer. While we appreciate the sincerity of coming before You, we notice that the name of Jesus was not mentioned. It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to You, Father. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). We encourage to place their full trust in Jesus, not just as a historical figure, but as Lord and Savior. If there is any uncertainty about salvation, we pray that the Holy Spirit would draw them close, reveal the truth of the Gospel, and lead them to repentance and faith in Christ alone.

Heavenly Father, we stand in the gap for this request, believing that You hear and answer prayer according to Your perfect will. We rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or sickness that may be at work, and we declare Your sovereignty over every situation. Strengthen the faith of and their loved ones. Fill them with hope, peace, and the assurance that You are working all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28).

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

What a gift to hear your heart, gratitude and longing woven together. Thank you for letting us carry these requests with you. It sounds like you’re holding several precious things before God: your own need for rest, the wellbeing of a little one, and favor for something new on the horizon. We’re honored to come alongside you in prayer for each one.

Sleep doesn’t always come easily when our minds are full or our bodies are weary. It’s not a small thing to ask for good rest, God cares about the physical renewal you need right now. You might find it helpful this week to create a simple, calm space before bed: set aside a few minutes to breathe deeply, leave tomorrow’s worries in His hands, and let your body unwind. He promises to give His beloved sleep, and we’re asking Him to do just that for you.

For the baby, we join you in praying for complete healing. Any time a child is unwell, our hearts feel the weight of it. We hope you’ve had trusted medical care alongside prayer, the two work hand in hand, and it’s wise to let doctors tend to the body while we trust Jesus with the whole child.

And for the favor and new beginning you’re seeking, though we don’t know the details, we know the One who opens doors no one can shut. We ask Him to guide each step, give you peace in the waiting, and bring about what aligns with His good purpose for you.

Please let us pray: Father, thank You for Your steady goodness. Give this dear person deep, refreshing rest tonight and in the nights ahead. Place Your healing hand on this baby; bring health, strength, and comfort to the whole family, and guide every medical provider involved. For the new thing ahead, prepare the way, grant favor, and make the path clear. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

The plea for rest rises from a weary heart, and such a plea is never lost upon our merciful Lord. He gives a present rest, rest now, not merely after a long pilgrimage, perfect rest found in coming to Jesus and taking His easy yoke. This rest for yourself He freely grants to those who trust Him. And what of the dear baby, for whom you seek healing? Take heart: the very leaves of the Tree of Life are for the healing of the nations. The least things about Christ brim with restoring virtue. Where there is healing, there is often pardon and life entwined; the Sun of Righteousness rises with healing in His wings, and His touch can quiet every distemper of our frail frame.

As for favor and a new beginning for the one you lift before the throne, understand that when the Lord turns in grace toward His people, He comes with all His soul to display favor. Our blessed Substitute is unto us a sweet savor of rest, and in Him a covenant of favor is secured. The God of mercy shall go before that soul, preparing the way, turning every extremity into His grand opportunity. Trust and you shall rest; His favor is not a fleeting thing but an eternal refuge. Whether for sleep tonight, for a little one’s mending, or for open doors ahead, He who has been our God in the past will certainly be our God in every future need.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You thank God for His goodness; this is the beginning of all prayer. Yet consider that the rest you seek for your body is but a shadow of the true rest that remains for the people of God. The Lord says, "Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls." That is no mere repose of the limbs, but the deep calm of a heart bowed to Him. Strive to enter that rest, lest you fall after the example of unbelief.

For the little one who needs healing, commit him to the mercy of God. Grace is exceedingly abundant; He not only spares us from punishment, but makes us righteous, makes us sons and joint-heirs. Yet this mercy is received with faith and love in Christ Jesus. Do not think hearing promises is enough; we must labor to hold fast. Pray with confidence, but let your trust be joined to holy living.

And what of favor and a new provision? Beware the care of this world and the deceitfulness of riches, for these choke the word. Instead, show hospitality; give to the poor. In that you lend to God, and your own sins are washed away. The poor man’s hand is medicine to your wounds, and you receive more than you give. If you seek favor from above, be a cheerful giver yourself, and God, who knows your needs before you ask, will supply what is truly good.

Pray for the sick infant, but open your hand to the needy. Ask for daily bread, but hunger first for that eternal rest where no sickness or want can enter. The Lord’s yoke is easy and His burden light, if you take it up with a meek heart. Let your thanksgiving be proved by your deeds, and you will find that the rest He gives surpasses all you now request.

It is right to thank the Lord for His goodness, because every good gift comes from Him. In your request I hear a heart that wants rest, healing, favor, and something new. Those four things are deeply connected in Scripture, and God has already made a way for all of them in Jesus Christ.

Real rest is far more than a full night's sleep. The kind of rest God promises is a settled peace that remains even when your circumstances are unsettled. Hebrews warns us not to miss it, because many who received the promise of rest never actually entered it. The key is faith: “We who have believed do enter that rest.” You cannot rest in your own efforts, your ability to figure things out, or your circumstances lining up. True rest comes from trusting that Jesus has already finished the work that matters most. When you bring your needs to Him, do it from a place of resting in what He accomplished on the cross for you. His rest is still open. Enter it by faith, and let your prayer flow from that restful reliance rather than anxious striving.

For the baby needing healing, I join you in asking God to touch that little body with His restoring power. Jesus healed all who were brought to Him, and He is the same today. Yet the greatest miracle any of us can ever experience is not physical healing but the forgiveness of sins and the new birth. The day a child comes to faith will always outshine any other work God does in their life. So pray boldly for healing, Jesus commanded us to, but also keep eternity in view. Whether God heals now or later, that baby’s soul is the central concern, and you can trust the Healer of both body and spirit.

Your request for favor for someone else is a generous one. But be careful what kind of favor you seek. In Acts, Governor Festus tried to curry favor with the religious leaders by making decisions that would please them rather than doing what was just. That kind of favor is a snare. What we truly need is not the applause or approval of people but the favor of God. Pray that this person would walk in such a way that they find grace in God’s eyes, that His smile would rest on them, and that they would not be tempted to bend their convictions to win human approval. The favor that comes from the Lord adds no sorrow with it.

And then, that desire for a “new” thing. God loves to make things new. The gospel itself is not a patch sewn onto an old, worn-out life; it is new wine that requires a new wineskin. A newborn baby is a sacred wonder, a fresh creation you can hold in your hands. Whatever that new something is, a job, a home, a season, bring it before the Lord in faith, knowing that He does not merely repair the old man but makes all things new in Christ. Let go of the impulse to try to fix your situation with your own wisdom, and instead ask Him to bring the kind of newness that only the Holy Spirit can birth.

Keep thanking God for His goodness. Keep bringing these requests, but let your foundation always be the rest that is yours in Jesus. When you rest where He rests, in the finished work of the cross, healing, favor, and new life all spring from that same soil. May you enter that rest more deeply, and may you see His goodness in each of these areas, for His glory and your joy.
