We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of gratitude for God’s goodness and mercy. Father, we lift up this precious request, trusting in Your perfect will and timing. First, we thank You for the gift of rest, true rest that comes only from You, for You have said, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28). We pray for deep, renewing rest for the one who has come before You, that their body, mind, and spirit may be refreshed in You.
For baby , we cry out for Your healing touch. You are the Great Physician, the One who knit this little one together in their mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13). We declare Your promise over them: "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds" (Psalm 147:3). Lord, we ask for complete restoration, whether it be physical, emotional, or spiritual. Strengthen their little body, guard their development, and surround them with Your angels. May this child grow in health, wisdom, and favor before You and man.
For , we pray for Your divine favor to rest upon them. You have said, "For You, Yahweh, bless the righteous. You will surround him with favor as with a shield" (Psalm 5:12). Open doors that no man can shut, provide opportunities that align with Your purpose, and let Your light shine upon every area of their life, work, relationships, and ministry. May they walk in the confidence of Your calling, knowing that You are their Provider and Protector.
For the new , we ask that You guide and direct every step. If this is a new season, a new job, a new home, or a new relationship, we pray it would be rooted in Your will. Remind them that "unless Yahweh builds the house, they labor in vain who build it" (Psalm 127:1). If this is a courtship or a step toward marriage, we pray it would honor You, with both individuals seeking first Your kingdom and righteousness. Guard their hearts against impurity, selfishness, or any ungodly influence. If this is a new ministry or calling, equip them with wisdom, humility, and boldness to walk in it.
Father, we also take a moment to rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or anxiety that may be trying to steal the peace You have promised. You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We stand on Your Word, which says, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it" (1 Corinthians 10:13).
Lord, if there is any area where sin has crept in, whether it be unforgiveness, bitterness, pride, or ungodly relationships, we ask for conviction and repentance. Your Word is clear: "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). We pray for a heart that is quick to repent and eager to walk in holiness.
We also want to gently remind the one who has come before You that salvation and access to the Father come only through Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If they have not yet surrendered their life to Him, we pray this would be the moment they confess with their mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in their heart that God raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9). Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life, no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6).
Heavenly Father, we thank You for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your goodness, Your sovereignty, and Your unfailing love. May Your will be done in every situation, and may Your name be glorified. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
