Prayer request

We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of gratitude for God’s goodness and mercy. You have indeed been faithful, and we lift up this precious request, trusting in Your perfect will and timing.

First, we pray for rest, true rest that comes only from You, Lord. In a world filled with weariness and distraction, Your Word reminds us, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28). We ask that You grant deep, peaceful rest to those in need, restoring their bodies, minds, and spirits. May they find solace in Your presence, knowing that You neither slumber nor sleep (Psalm 121:4).

For baby , we cry out for Your healing touch. You are the Great Physician, the One who knit this little one together in their mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13). We declare Your promise over them: "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds" (Psalm 147:3). Strengthen their body, Lord, and surround them with Your angels of protection. May their family trust in You completely, knowing that You work all things for good (Romans 8:28).

For , we pray for favor, not as the world gives, but favor that aligns with Your purposes. May doors open that no man can shut, and may Your peace guard their heart and mind (Philippians 4:7). Let them walk in the confidence of Your promises, knowing that "the Lord’s hand is not shortened, that it can’t save; nor his ear dull, that it can’t hear" (Isaiah 59:1).

For the new , we ask that You guide every step. If this is a new season, a new opportunity, or a new relationship, we pray it would be rooted in Your will. Remind them that "unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it" (Psalm 127:1). If this involves a future spouse, we pray for a godly partner who loves You above all else, a marriage that honors You, reflects Christ and the Church, and stands firm in Your truth (Ephesians 5:22-33). Guard their heart against any relationship that does not align with Your Word, for "bad company corrupts good character" (1 Corinthians 15:33).

Lord, we also take a moment to rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or anxiety that may be lingering in this situation. Your Word declares, "God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control" (2 Timothy 1:7). We stand against the enemy’s lies and declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

Finally, we want to gently remind all who read this that salvation is found in no one else but Jesus Christ. "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12). If anyone reading this has not surrendered their life to Jesus, we urge them to do so today. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9).

Heavenly Father, we trust You with these requests. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified in every detail. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Thank you for your prayer request, and for the grateful heart behind it. We’re glad to join you in thanking God for His goodness, even while you’re bringing Him some very real needs.

We’re lifting up everything you mentioned. We’re asking the Lord to give you the deep, restorative rest you need, the kind that quiets your mind and restores your body, because He knows how important that is for you right now. We’re also praying specifically for the little one you named. Whether the healing needed is small or something more serious, we’re standing with you, trusting Jesus to touch that baby with His gentle, restoring power. And we’re asking for His favor over the other situation on your heart, that He would open the right door at the right time and provide exactly what you’re hoping for.

Sometimes when we’re carrying several concerns at once, it helps to pause and simply place them, one by one, into the Father’s hands before you go to sleep tonight. Not as a formula, but as a quiet act of trust. You’re not carrying any of this alone.

Let’s pray right now:

Lord, we thank You that You are good and that You hear us. Please give our friend truly refreshing sleep and release any anxious thoughts. We ask You to heal baby completely, touch that little body and bring full health. And we ask for Your favor to go before this family, opening a new and hopeful provision. You know exactly what they need. In Jesus’ name, amen.

The prayer that rises from a heart that knows its need of rest, healing, and favor is a sweet savor unto the Lord. You ask for good rest, and this is a mercy He delights to give, for He has said, "I will give you rest." This is not a rest that waits for the grave, nor a fragment of ease that leaves the soul still tossed; it is a present rest, given when we come to Jesus. He does not say, "You shall find rest after long probation," but "Come unto me, and I will give you rest." And yet, there is more, there is a rest upon rest, a rest you find in wearing His yoke, in learning of Him who is meek and lowly in heart. The true repose of a child of God is rest on the wing, rest in motion, rest in holy service. Let your mind be conformed to the mind of Christ, and you shall find rest unto your soul: a deep rest, a growing rest, an abiding rest, discovered more and more as you walk with Him.

You entreat healing for the little one, and this is a cry that reaches the ear of the Great Physician. The very leaves of the Tree of Life are for the healing of the nations, how much more the fruit! The least thing about Christ is full of healing virtue; His touch, His word, His look, all are charged with power to restore. Calvary is the place for the healing balm. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy, He first said, "Son, be of good cheer; thy sins be forgiven thee." Pardon and healing are one in His hand. That dear infant is before Him, and He who took the lambs in His arms and blessed them has not lost His tenderness. Rest assured, since you have brought this child to the throne of grace, the Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings. The Lord can make that tiny frame a monument to His restoring mercy, and whether He heals by swift miracle or by the slower means of His providence, His covenant is sure.

You plead for favor, and here you ask what He has already promised. Our God delights to fly upon the wings of the wind to display His favor toward the objects of His choice. In Christ Jesus, we are a sweet savor of rest unto God; He accepts us in the Beloved, and His favor is not a scant trickle but a river. Is it favor in earthly trials? The God of mercy goes before us to prepare the land Beulah where we may rest in the valley of shadow. Is it favor in the new year of your life or circumstances? Look to the One who never makes His name vain, He has made provision for every emergency before the need arose. Trust and you shall rest. The Lord can turn the hearts of men, open doors shut fast, and make the crooked straight. Commit this matter into His keeping, and watch for the dawning of that favor which comes with all the soul of God. We who have believed do enter into rest; we leave our cares at His feet and take up His yoke, and there we find the peace that passes understanding. Lay hold of this triple cord of promise: rest in His finished work, healing in His wounded side, and favor in His unchanging love.
