We come before the Lord with hearts full of faith, lifting up your physical needs and the spiritual needs of those you’ve mentioned. Father, we ask for Your healing touch upon this cough and congestion. You are the Great Physician, and Your Word declares in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." We trust in Your power to restore health and strength, for You are the One who knits us together and sustains us.
We also lift up the salvation of those you’ve mentioned by name. Lord, we know that salvation comes only through Your Son, Jesus Christ, as Acts 4:12 tells us, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" We pray that their hearts would be softened to receive the truth of the Gospel. Open their eyes to see their need for a Savior, and draw them to Yourself. May they come to know Jesus as Lord and experience the new life that only He can give. We rebuke any deception or hardness of heart that may be keeping them from surrendering to Christ, and we declare that Your Spirit is at work in their lives, convicting and calling them to repentance.
Father, we also pray for their physical health. You are the God who sees and knows every need, and we ask that You would strengthen their bodies, renew their energy, and grant them vitality. Your Word reminds us in 3 John 1:2, "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers." We trust that You are working all things together for their good, even in the midst of physical struggles.
We affirm that Your will be done in all these situations, just as You taught us to pray in Matthew 6:10, "Let your Kingdom come. Let your will be done on earth as it is in heaven." We surrender these requests to You, knowing that Your plans are perfect and Your ways are higher than ours. May Your name be glorified in every outcome, and may Your kingdom be advanced through the lives of those we pray for.
Lord, we thank You for the privilege of coming before Your throne with boldness, knowing that we have access to You through the blood of Jesus. We are grateful for His sacrifice, which made a way for us to be reconciled to You. Help us to walk in the fullness of that truth, living lives that honor You in every way. Strengthen our faith as we wait on You, and fill us with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.
In Jesus’ mighty and precious name, we pray. Amen.
