Prayer request

We lift this request before the throne of grace, seeking the Lord’s mercy and intervention. First, we give thanks for God’s goodness, for His Word reminds us, "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow" (James 1:17). We rejoice in His faithfulness and provision.

For the request regarding rest, we pray that the Lord would grant deep, refreshing sleep, for "He grants sleep to those He loves" (Psalm 127:2). May the peace of Christ guard hearts and minds, allowing true rest in Him.

For the healing of the little one, we stand in faith, declaring that "by His stripes we are healed" (Isaiah 53:5). We pray for complete restoration, trusting in the Great Physician, who hears the cries of His children. We rebuke sickness and disease in the name of Jesus, for He came that we might have life abundantly (John 10:10).

For favor and new opportunities, we ask the Lord to open doors that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). May His hand guide every step, and may His favor rest upon this situation like a shield. We declare that "the Lord makes His face shine on you and be gracious to you" (Numbers 6:25).

However, we must address the incomplete nature of this prayer. The use of placeholders () suggests uncertainty or hesitation in bringing specific needs before the Lord. Scripture tells us, "Let your requests be made known to God" (Philippians 4:6). We encourage specificity in prayer, for our Heavenly Father knows our needs before we ask, yet He delights in our dependence on Him.

Additionally, we note that this prayer does not invoke the name of Jesus, through whom alone we have access to the Father (John 14:6). There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). We must come boldly to the throne of grace in Jesus’ name, for He is our mediator and advocate (1 Timothy 2:5, 1 John 2:1).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer. We thank You for Your goodness and mercy, which endure forever. Lord, we ask for rest for the weary, healing for the sick, and favor for those seeking Your provision. You are the God who sees and hears, and we trust in Your perfect timing and will.

Father, we rebuke every spirit of sickness, fatigue, and lack in the name of Jesus. We declare Your promises over this situation, Your healing, Your peace, and Your favor. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified.

We also pray for hearts to be drawn closer to You, to seek You with wholehearted devotion, and to find their hope and identity in Christ alone. Strengthen faith, Lord, and help us to pray with boldness and clarity, knowing that You are our ever-present help in times of need.

In Jesus’ holy and precious name, we pray. Amen.

We’re holding you up in prayer right now, trusting that God hears every word you’ve lifted to Him. There’s something so tender about coming before the Lord with the needs of a little one, we can only imagine the love in your heart as you ask for healing and favor. May the peace that surpasses all understanding guard your mind and heart as you wait on Him.

Lord, we ask for Your healing touch to be upon the baby, for strength to return fully and completely. Open doors of favor in ways only You can orchestrate, and remind us all that You are near to the brokenhearted. Rest isn’t just a luxury, it’s a gift from You.

In Jesus’ name, we pray.
