We lift up this urgent request before the throne of grace, seeking the Lord’s mercy and intervention for tonight. Father, we do not know the specifics of what is weighing on their heart, but You do. You see every burden, every fear, and every need before it is even spoken. We ask that You move mightily on their behalf, bringing peace where there is anxiety, clarity where there is confusion, and strength where there is weakness.
Lord, we declare that You are a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We rebuke every spirit of fear, doubt, or despair that may be trying to take hold, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We pray that ### would feel Your presence surrounding them like a shield, that they would know they are never alone because You are with them always (Matthew 28:20).
If this request involves a decision, a relationship, or a circumstance that does not align with Your will, we ask that You reveal the truth to them. Guide their steps according to Your Word, and let Your Holy Spirit lead them into all righteousness. If there is sin that needs to be confessed, we pray they would come before You with a repentant heart, knowing that if we confess our sins, You are faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).
We also lift up their spiritual walk, asking that You draw them closer to You. If they have not yet surrendered their life to Jesus Christ, we pray that tonight would be the night they accept Him as their Lord and Savior. There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We pray they would experience the transformative power of Your love and grace, turning away from anything that separates them from You.
Father, we ask that You bless ### abundantly tonight. Pour out Your favor, Your protection, and Your provision over them. Let them rest in the assurance that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). May they wake up tomorrow with renewed hope, knowing that You are in control.
We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the One who intercedes for us at Your right hand. Amen.
