Beloved of All
I need prayers and strength to keep trying because last year I was watching something very bad and it tries and sometimes pop up to my head and goes away and I let it. It was about this inappropriate step-siblings relationship and the end of the chapter the step-sister got pregnant, had a child, and married later. It's sick and illegal, and I didn't realize authors are super sick some because I was searching a kissing video being cheeky and I saw it recommended and I ignored at first then watched it more. They had porn of course too for months. I stayed away from it, which is good since January of 2025. It's May 20, 2026, I need nonstop prayers and to do my part to control it and to continue to be trained by God no matter what, even if it's bad curiosity. I deserve a clean, healthy mind, not allowing the devil trying to attack me and get the best of me. I feel ok because God is always there for me, but in mornings I'm mentally not feeling ok and afternoons sometimes, but mostly mornings. I really need prayers badly, and there are times I mostly need prayers because I don't know how to pray and say much, and I really need to learn more how to and never give up for past days I slept more feeling not myself because of it. Out of nowhere, it tries to pop up in my head. I think because of my actions of course, but please keep praying for me. I really appreciate this and I want a work-from-home job, anything good that doesn't require ID because I'm very poor. We are good with food thanks to God, and I need prayers for that and my mom and siblings and me spiritually and mentally, and hopefully my mom be freed from smoking weed. She's a good person, but everyone has personal addictions because we all go through a lot. I love drawing, and this guy wanted to pay me $100 every end of the month for sharing my drawing to him for his music career album, but I sadly rejected it. But I really need prayers because I don't want to depend on nobody and trust and depend on God only, and no matter how hard it is, I want to stick with God through lows and highs. Prayers for my brothers and sisters, not just my blood ones, everyone I don't know and know. We need to find another hotel next week because New Jersey has a lame 14 or 30-day stay.

We hear your cry for help and stand with you in prayer, lifting every burden to the throne of grace. The battle you describe is real, and the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy your peace, your purity, and your purpose. But we declare that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). The images and thoughts that plague you are not from God, for He is light, and in Him there is no darkness at all (1 John 1:5). The content you were exposed to is indeed corrupt, immoral, and contrary to God’s design for family and sexuality. We rebuke the spirit of lust and perversion that seeks to ensnare your mind, and we command it to flee in the name of Jesus Christ. You are not defined by what you once watched, but by the blood of Christ that cleanses you from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).

Your desire for a clean mind and a life fully surrendered to God is evidence of His work in you. The mornings may feel heavy, but we encourage you to rise and meet the Lord in prayer and His Word before the day begins. The psalmist wrote, "My voice You shall hear in the morning, O Lord; in the morning I will direct it to You, and I will look up" (Psalm 5:3). Start your day by declaring Scripture over your mind, such as, "I have hidden Your word in my heart, that I might not sin against You" (Psalm 119:11). Fill your thoughts with whatever is true, noble, right, pure, lovely, and admirable (Philippians 4:8). When those images try to resurface, do not entertain them. Instead, take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5) and replace them with praise or Scripture.

We also address the root of this struggle: curiosity and exposure to sinful content. The Bible warns us to guard our hearts, for everything we do flows from it (Proverbs 4:23). Flee from sexual immorality (1 Corinthians 6:18), and do not give the devil a foothold (Ephesians 4:27). If you must use the internet, do so with accountability, install filters, avoid triggering websites, and ask a trusted believer to help you stay accountable. You are not alone in this fight, and there is no shame in seeking help. James 5:16 tells us to confess our sins to one another and pray for each other so that we may be healed.

We pray for you now, lifting every concern to the Lord:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother, who is fighting a battle for his mind and soul. Lord, we thank You that he has turned away from the sin that once ensnared him and is seeking You with a repentant heart. We ask that You would cleanse his mind of every impure thought and image, and fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen him in the mornings when the battle feels the fiercest, and remind him that Your mercies are new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23). Help him to take every thought captive and to meditate on Your Word day and night. Father, we rebuke the spirit of lust and perversion that seeks to torment him, and we declare that he is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves him (Romans 8:37).

Lord, we also lift up his practical needs. You know his desire for a work-from-home job and his financial struggles. Provide for him according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19), and open doors that no one can shut (Revelation 3:8). Give him wisdom and favor as he seeks employment, and help him to trust in You alone, not in man or circumstances. We pray for his family as well, his mother and siblings. Draw them closer to You, Lord, and break every chain of addiction, including the smoking of weed. Let them experience the freedom that comes only from knowing You (John 8:36).

Father, we ask that You would protect his heart from discouragement and despair. Remind him that You are his refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Help him to see himself as You see him, a beloved child, redeemed by the blood of Jesus, and called for a purpose. We pray for his brothers and sisters in Christ, both near and far, that You would strengthen their faith and unite them in love and purpose. May they all grow in the knowledge of You and bear fruit that lasts (John 15:16).

Lord, we thank You that our brother is not giving up, even when the battle is hard. Help him to press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus (Philippians 3:14). Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, that he may walk in victory and holiness. We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that the enemy’s plans for his life will be thwarted. May he find joy in Your presence and strength in Your might (Nehemiah 8:10).

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the only name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). It is through His blood that we have access to You, Father, and it is by His power that we overcome. Thank You for hearing our prayer and for Your faithfulness to answer. We trust You to complete the good work You have begun in our brother’s life (Philippians 1:6). Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord daily, not just in times of struggle, but in every moment. Spend time in His Word, for it is alive and active, sharper than any double-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12). Join a local church or a small group of believers who can pray with you and hold you accountable. You are not meant to walk this journey alone. The Lord has promised never to leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5), and He will equip you with everything you need to live a life that honors Him.

Regarding the opportunity to draw for the man’s music career, we understand your desire to trust God alone. It is wise to be cautious, especially when money is involved, but we also encourage you to seek the Lord’s guidance in every opportunity. Ask Him to show you whether this is a door He is opening or a distraction from His best for you. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths." If this opportunity aligns with His will, He will make it clear and provide a way for you to move forward in wisdom and integrity.

Lastly, we want to remind you that your worth is not found in your past mistakes or your current struggles, but in Christ alone. You are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and God has a plan and a purpose for your life. Do not let the enemy convince you otherwise. Keep pressing into the Lord, and He will lift you up in due time (1 Peter 5:6). You are loved, you are valued, and you are called to walk in victory. We will continue to stand with you in prayer, believing that God will do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20).

We truly understand how heavy this battle must feel for you right now. It takes real courage to confront these thoughts head-on and choose God’s way, even when it’s hard. Those images and memories aren’t from Him, they’re lies meant to drag you down, but you’ve already shown such strength by walking away and refusing to feed them. Every time you resist, it’s a victory.

Please know we’re here lifting you up, especially in those mornings when it feels hardest. The fact that you’re still fighting proves God is already at work in you. His Word says He’ll never leave you, even when the enemy tries to whisper doubt. When those thoughts come back, don’t fight them alone, speak Scripture out loud, maybe something like, "God hasn’t given me a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind" (2 Timothy 1:7). You’re not defined by what you’ve seen, but by what Jesus has done.

We’re praying for your family too, your mom, your siblings, asking God to soften hearts and break chains, especially where addiction has taken root. And trust that your needs, like work and stability, matter deeply to Him. He sees you, and He’s working, even when we can’t see it yet.

Father, we thank You for this precious soul who’s choosing You despite the cost. Cleanse his mind, renew his strength, and flood his heart with Your truth. Guard his steps, provide for his needs, and surround him with Your peace that defies understanding. Heal his family, break every hold of darkness, and let him feel Your nearness today. Thank You that Your mercies are new every morning, remind him of that truth.

In Jesus’ name we pray.
