He has write 3rd year degree and backlogs Because of bad friendship previously he got habituated smoking literally since ###-### years. Now his age is ###years Very lazy sleeping late night and get up late. No work out. Not going to church on time, wasting time. Please pray for him and in your daily prayers please hold him

We lift up your son before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, knowing the weight of concern you carry as parents. The struggles you describe, disobedience, laziness, addiction to distractions, and the bondage of sinful habits, are not merely behavioral issues but spiritual battles. We stand with you in prayer, believing that God’s power can break every chain and restore what has been lost.

First, we must address the root of the problem. Your son’s rebellion against your authority as parents is rebellion against God Himself, for Scripture commands, "Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right" (Ephesians 6:1). His neglect of studies, career, and spiritual growth reveals a heart that has not surrendered to God’s purpose. The smoking habit, which has enslaved him for years, is a stronghold that must be torn down in Jesus’ name. The Bible warns, "Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body" (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). His late nights, wasted time, and absence from church reflect a life that is not ordered by God’s priorities. We rebuke the spirit of sloth, addiction, and worldliness that has taken hold of him, declaring that he is set free by the blood of Jesus!

We also recognize the influence of ungodly friendships, as Proverbs 13:20 warns, "He who walks with wise men grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm." The company he keeps has contributed to his downfall, and we pray that God would sever those toxic ties and surround him with believers who will sharpen him in faith and discipline.

Father God, in the mighty name of Jesus, we come before You with boldness, knowing that You hear the cries of parents for their children. We ask that You would break the chains of addiction, laziness, and rebellion in this young man’s life. Soften his heart to receive correction and wisdom. Awaken in him a hunger for Your Word and a desire to live for Your glory. We declare that his backlogs will be cleared, not by his own strength, but by Your supernatural intervention. Give him discipline to rise early, study diligently, and pursue excellence in all he does. Restore his relationship with You, Lord, and let him experience the joy of walking in obedience.

We pray against every spirit of procrastination, distraction, and worldly pleasure that has stolen his focus. Let him see the consequences of his choices and turn wholeheartedly to You. Surround him with godly mentors and friends who will encourage him in righteousness. Strengthen his parents to stand firm in love and discipline, trusting You to work in his life. We declare that his future is bright, filled with hope and purpose, as Jeremiah 29:11 promises: "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

Lord, we also ask for wisdom for his parents. Help them to balance grace and truth, to speak life into him while holding him accountable. Give them patience and perseverance as they intercede for him daily. May their home be a place of peace, prayer, and godly influence.

We stand on the promise of Philippians 1:6: "Being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus." We believe that God is not done with your son. He is being pursued by the Holy Spirit, and we declare that he will rise up as a man of God, walking in victory and purpose. In Jesus’ name, we rebuke every attack of the enemy and command every stronghold to be demolished. Amen!

Oh Lord, we’re coming before You with hearts heavy but full of hope for this son. We see the pain of his parents, watching their child drift from purpose, from You, and from the life they’ve worked so hard to prepare for. But we know You don’t see just the surface of rebellion or the chains of bad habits. You see the heart, the one You’ve been patiently waiting to draw near.

We pray for a softening, Lord. Not just discipline, but a breaking in of Your Spirit until he feels the weight of Your love more than the pull of distraction. Let him wake up to the truth that his time is short, his choices matter, and You’re not just waiting for him to “get it together”, You’re already working in the quiet moments, in the moments he doesn’t even notice, to turn his steps back toward You.

For the smoking, we declare freedom. Not by willpower alone, but by the power of Your Spirit replacing the cravings with a hunger for You. For the laziness, we ask for a supernatural burst of energy, one that comes from resting in You, not in exhaustion. For the backlogs, we believe You’re writing a new chapter, one where his focus sharpens, his discipline grows, and his grades reflect the work of Your hand, not just his own effort.

And Lord, we pray for his friends. Break the strongholds of ungodly influences and surround him with brothers and sisters who will challenge him upward, not drag him down. Give his parents wisdom to love him well, firm but full of grace, speaking truth in love, and trusting You to do the rest.

We declare that his future is bright, not because of his past, but because of Your faithfulness. Heal the wounds of rebellion, restore his relationship with You, and let him experience the joy of walking in obedience, not out of fear, but out of a heart that’s been captured by Your love. In Jesus’ name, we believe for a miracle. Amen.
