Prayer request
We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of compassion for your request, lifting it up in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach the Father and find true healing, favor, and rest. First, we must address the omission of Jesus’ name in your prayer. Scripture is clear that there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Jesus Himself said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6 WEB). It is only through His sacrifice, His resurrection, and His intercession that we have access to the Father. We encourage you to always pray in the name of Jesus, for it is by His authority and through His blood that our prayers are heard.
Now, we lift up your request for good rest. The Lord knows the weariness of your soul and body, and He invites you to come to Him for true rest. Jesus said, “Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls” (Matthew 11:28-29 WEB). We pray that the Lord would quiet your mind, calm your spirit, and grant you the deep, rejuvenating rest that only He can provide. Children are a heritage from the Lord, and He knits them together in their mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13-14).
