The images and thoughts you allowed to linger have defiled your mind, and the enemy seeks to use them to ensnare you further. But take heart, for *"if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9 WEB).
You are not alone in this battle. The Apostle Paul himself cried out, *"For the good which I desire, I don’t do; but the evil which I don’t desire, this I practice"* (Romans 7:19 WEB). Yet he also declared, *"I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me"* (Philippians 4:13 WEB). The morning struggles you face are not uncommon—the enemy often attacks when our spirits are most vulnerable. But God’s mercies are new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23 WEB), and His strength is made perfect in your weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9 WEB). You must take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5 WEB). When those images surface, immediately rebuke them in Jesus’ name and replace them with Scripture. We also lift up your material needs. Your trust in God’s provision is commendable, but remember that faith without works is dead (James 2:17 WEB).
