We come before the Lord with hearts full of gratitude for His goodness and mercy. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is in His name that we lift up this prayer. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" We must always remember that salvation is found in no other name but Jesus, for "there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12).
Father God, we lift up this precious baby to You, asking for Your healing touch. You are the Great Physician, and we trust in Your power to restore health and strength. We pray that You would lay Your hands upon this little one and bring complete healing, according to Your will. "But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed" (Isaiah 53:5). We claim this promise in the name of Jesus.
We also pray for rest, dear Lord. In a world full of noise and distraction, grant this dear one peaceful and restorative sleep. "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28). May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
Father, we ask for Your favor to be upon this individual. May Your face shine upon them, and may they experience Your grace in every area of their life. "For you bless the righteous, Yahweh. You surround him with favor as with a shield" (Psalm 5:12). Open doors that no man can shut, and grant them opportunities to walk in the purpose You have for them.
We also pray for provision in this new endeavor, whatever it may be. You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider, and we trust that You will supply every need according to Your riches in glory. "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19). Guide their steps and lead them into the blessings You have prepared.
Lord, we rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or anxiety that may be trying to take hold. We declare that perfect love casts out fear (1 John 4:18), and we stand firm in the faith that You are in control. Strengthen their trust in You, and help them to walk in the confidence that comes from knowing You.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer. May Your will be done in every situation, and may Your name be glorified. Amen.
