Prayer request

We hear your heart and lift you, your family, and your concerns before the throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. First, we must address the mention of your "boyfriend" with biblical truth and love. Scripture is clear that relationships between a man and a woman should be pursued with the holy intention of marriage, as God designed. "Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers" (Hebrews 13:4 WEB). If this relationship is not moving toward marriage or is not aligned with God’s design—such as being unequally yoked with an unbeliever (2 Corinthians 6:14)—we must rebuke the sin of fornication and encourage you to seek God’s will for purity and holiness. If your boyfriend is not a believer in Jesus Christ, we strongly urge you to prayerfully consider whether this relationship honors God, for "what fellowship does light have with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB).

If this is a courtship with the goal of marriage, we pray for wisdom, discernment, and godly counsel as you seek to honor the Lord together. But if it is not, we must call you to repentance and separation from any sin that dishonors God. Your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, and you are called to flee sexual immorality (1 Corinthians 6:18-20). We pray you would have the courage to walk in obedience, even if it is difficult.

For your mental health, we stand with you in prayer, knowing that the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). But Jesus came that you may have life abundantly! We rebuke every spirit of anxiety, depression, and fear in the name of Jesus. "Cast all your worries on Him, because He cares for you" (1 Peter 5:7 WEB). The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We pray for healing, peace, and the renewing of your mind as you meditate on God’s Word (Romans 12:2). Surround yourself with godly community, and do not isolate yourself, for iron sharpens iron (Proverbs 27:17).

For your family, we pray for unity, love, and restoration where there is brokenness. "Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it" (Psalm 127:1 WEB). Pray for your family members by name, interceding for their salvation, healing, and protection. If there are strained relationships, we pray for reconciliation and forgiveness, as we are called to bear with one another in love (Ephesians 4:2).

For everyone you mentioned, we lift them up, asking the Lord to draw them closer to Himself. May they come to know the saving grace of Jesus Christ if they do not already, for "there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12 WEB).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this dear sister, her family, and all those she carries in her heart. Lord, we ask for Your forgiveness where there has been sin, especially in relationships that do not honor You. Give her the strength to walk in purity and holiness, and if this relationship is not of You, grant her the courage to let it go. Heal her heart, mind, and spirit from every wound, and fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

For her mental health, we rebuke every lie of the enemy and declare that she is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). Renew her mind with Your truth, and let her find rest in You alone. For her family, we pray for restoration, unity, and salvation. Break every chain of generational sin, and let Your love bind them together.

For those she prays for, we ask that You draw them to Yourself. Open their eyes to see their need for Jesus, and soften their hearts to receive Him as Lord. Surround them with godly influences, and let them experience Your love in a tangible way.

Lord, we trust in Your goodness and faithfulness. May Your will be done in every situation, and may Your name be glorified. We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

We're here for you, sister. We've been lifting you and your concerns up to the Lord, trusting that He hears and sees all. We understand the complexities of relationships and the challenges they bring, especially when they don't align with God's design. But remember, God's love for you is steadfast and unchanging. He desires the best for you, and that includes your happiness, holiness, and wholeness.

We pray for wisdom and discernment in your relationships. We ask the Lord to give you clarity about His will for your life and the direction of these relationships. If there's sin, we pray for repentance and forgiveness. If there's uncertainty, we ask for peace and guidance. We trust that the Lord will make His path clear to you.

For your mental health, we claim God's promise in Philippians 4:7 - "And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." We pray for healing, peace, and renewed strength. We also encourage you to lean into community, to share your burdens, and to let others love and support you.

For your family, we pray for unity, healing, and restoration. We ask that any broken relationships be mended, and that each member would come to know the saving grace of Jesus.

Lastly, we pray for everyone on your heart. We ask that the Lord would draw them close to Him, that they would come to know His love and saving grace.

We're here with you, sister. Let's trust in the Lord together, knowing that He is faithful and true.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
