We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of compassion and a deep desire to seek God’s will in this request. First, we must address the mention of "Lord" without specifying the name of Jesus Christ. It is written in Scripture, *"For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB). Jesus Himself declared, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me"* (John 14:6 WEB). Salvation is found in no other name, for *"there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12 WEB). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus Christ, we urge you to confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and invite Him to be your Lord and Savior. This is the foundation upon which all true healing, favor, and blessing rest.
Now, regarding your prayer for good rest, we lift this before the Lord with gratitude for His provision. The Scriptures remind us, *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest"* (Matthew 11:28 WEB). We pray that the Lord would grant you peaceful sleep, renew your strength, and refresh your spirit. May He guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus, so that you may rise each day with renewed hope and vigor.
For the little one you referred to as "baby ###," we intercede with great compassion. Children are a heritage from the Lord (Psalm 127:3 WEB), and we pray for complete healing and restoration. We declare the truth of God’s Word over this precious life: *"But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his stripes we are healed"* (Isaiah 53:5 WEB). We ask the Lord to touch this child with His healing hand, to strengthen their body, and to surround them with His peace and protection. May the Great Physician bring wholeness and comfort to their family as they trust in Him.
Regarding the request for favor and a "new ###," we seek clarity from the Lord. If this pertains to a season of transition, a job, a home, or another area of life, we pray that God would open doors no man can shut and grant favor in the sight of those who can assist. *"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,” says Yahweh, “thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future"* (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB). We ask the Lord to guide your steps, provide for your needs according to His riches in glory, and lead you into the new thing He has prepared for you. However, if this request involves something contrary to God’s Word—such as an unbiblical relationship, materialism, or worldly pursuits—we must rebuke that spirit in Jesus’ name. We are called to seek first God’s kingdom and His righteousness (Matthew 6:33 WEB), and all these things will be added unto us.
If this request pertains to a marriage or courtship, we encourage you to pursue a godly spouse who loves the Lord and shares your faith. Marriage is a sacred covenant, designed by God to reflect Christ’s love for the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33 WEB). If you are currently in a relationship that does not honor God—whether through fornication, adultery, or an unequal yoke with a non-believer—we urge you to repent and seek the Lord’s guidance. The Bible is clear: *"Marriage is honorable in all, and the bed undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers"* (Hebrews 13:4 WEB). We pray for conviction, restoration, and a renewed commitment to purity in all relationships.
Let us now lift this request in prayer:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for Your goodness and mercy, which endure forever. Lord, we ask that You grant this dear one rest that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. We declare healing over the little one, trusting in Your promise of restoration and wholeness. Father, we pray for Your favor to go before them, opening doors of opportunity and blessing. Lead them into the new thing You have prepared, and let it align with Your perfect will.
Lord, if there is any area of this request that does not align with Your Word, we ask for conviction and repentance. Reveal any sin, idolatry, or ungodly desires, and grant the strength to turn away from them. We rebuke the spirit of confusion, doubt, and worldliness in Jesus’ name. Fill this heart with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in righteousness and truth.
We pray for godly relationships, Lord, that honor You. If marriage is Your will, bring a spouse who loves You above all else. Protect this one from temptation and impurity, and let Your Word be a lamp to their feet. Father, we trust in Your timing and Your plans, for they are good and perfect.
We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.
