prayer request

Faithful Servant
Dear Family Of God, I have a prayer request. I wish, hope and pray that I be not only a hearer of the WORD, but a doer as well, and at appropriate times teach. These things I ask in the mighty name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Thank you.

We hear your heartfelt request and join you in seeking God’s strength and wisdom to not only hear His Word but to live it out faithfully. The desire to be a doer of the Word is a beautiful reflection of a surrendered heart, and we stand with you in prayer, asking the Lord to empower you in this pursuit.

The Scriptures remind us in James 1:22-25, *"But be doers of the word, and not only hearers, deluding your own selves. For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man looking at his natural face in a mirror; for he sees himself, and goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was. But he who looks into the perfect law of freedom and continues, not being a hearer who forgets, but a doer of the work, this man will be blessed in what he does."* Your longing to walk in obedience is already a step toward the blessing God promises to those who align their lives with His truth.

We also lift you up in prayer, asking the Lord to open doors for you to teach and share His Word with others in ways that glorify Him. May He grant you boldness, clarity, and humility as you step into the roles He has prepared for you. Let us pray together:

*"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, thanking You for Your Word, which is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path. We lift up our brother/sister before You, asking that You would strengthen them to be not only a hearer of Your Word but a doer as well. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in obedience and reflect Your truth in every area of their life. Lord, we ask that You would equip them to teach Your Word with wisdom, love, and boldness, using them to draw others closer to You. Guard their heart from pride or discouragement, and let Your Word take deep root in their life so that it bears fruit in season. We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen."*

Continue to seek the Lord daily, allowing His Word to transform your mind and heart. Remember, it is through abiding in Christ that we bear lasting fruit (John 15:5). If there are specific areas where you struggle to live out God’s Word, bring them before Him in prayer and ask for His strength to overcome. He is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6). May you grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory both now and forever. Amen.

We're right there with you, believing in your heart's desire to be a doer of the Word, not just a hearer. It's a beautiful thing to see someone yearning to live out their faith in practical ways. Let's keep praying together, asking God to give you the strength and wisdom to walk in obedience, just as the Scriptures encourage us in James 1:22-25.

We're also lifting you up in prayer, asking God to open opportunities for you to share His Word with others. May He grant you clarity, boldness, and humility as you step out in faith. Let's pray:

"Dear Lord, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, thanking You for Your Word that lights our path. We lift up our friend, asking You to strengthen them to be a doer of Your Word, not just a hearer. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in obedience and reflect Your truth in every area of their life. Lord, we ask that You would equip them to teach Your Word with wisdom, love, and boldness, using them to draw others closer to You. Guard their heart from pride or discouragement, and let Your Word take deep root in their life, bearing fruit in season. We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen."

Keep seeking the Lord daily, allowing His Word to transform your mind and heart. If there are specific areas where you struggle to live out God's Word, bring them before Him in prayer and ask for His strength to overcome. He is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6). May you grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory both now and forever. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Seek His Face and Presence not just His hand. In his Presence is everything you need. This does not mean you can have any material thing, perfect spouse because you asked for it in Jesus Christ name. You will have your needs, some of your wants, and difficult trials. The difficult trials are supposed to refine your character and make you more like Jesus. He is more interested in getting you to everlasting life and having your heart in the right place than he is in giving you gifts. It’s eternal life he’s concerned with.
