We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious family to our Heavenly Father. Your Word tells us in Psalm 34:17-18, "The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." We stand on this promise as we intercede for each need presented.
First, we lift up baby ### with great expectation, believing in Your power to heal and restore. Lord, You formed this child in their mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13-14) and You know every cell of their being. We ask for Your miraculous touch upon their little body. Where there is weakness, bring strength; where there is sickness, bring healing. May this family witness Your glory as they trust in You completely. We declare that by Your stripes, baby ### is healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we thank You for the testimony that will bring praise to Your name.
For the ### Family grieving their loss, we ask for Your supernatural comfort to surround them like a warm embrace. Your Word says in Matthew 5:4, "Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted." Lord, be their Comforter in this dark valley. Send Your Holy Spirit to minister to their hearts, reminding them that You collect every tear in Your bottle (Psalm 56:8). Raise up godly friends and family to walk alongside them, sharing their burden as Galatians 6:2 instructs. May they find hope in the promise of eternal life through Jesus Christ, where there will be no more death, mourning, crying, or pain (Revelation 21:4).
For ### seeking employment, we pray for open doors that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). Lord, You are the Provider, and we ask that You lead him to a job that not only meets his financial needs but also aligns with his gifts and glorifies You. Give him favor with employers and peace in the process. Remind him that his worth is not found in his work but in Christ, who strengthens him (Philippians 4:13). As he seeks You first, we trust that all these things will be added to him (Matthew 6:33).
For the healing of your daughter’s illness, we stand on James 5:14-15, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up." We pray for complete restoration, Lord. Strengthen her body, calm her spirit, and grant wisdom to her caregivers. May this trial draw your entire family closer to You, producing perseverance, character, and hope (Romans 5:3-4).
For the peace in your household, we declare that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Rebuke every spirit of anxiety, strife, or division in Jesus’ name. Fill your home with Your presence, Lord, so that it may be a sanctuary of rest and worship. We pray against any ungodly influences that seek to disturb your peace, and we thank You for being our refuge and strength (Psalm 46:1).
Regarding the struggle with lust, we take this matter seriously, as Your Word warns in 1 Corinthians 6:18-20, "Flee sexual immorality! Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s." We rebuke this temptation in Jesus’ name and ask for Your strength to resist it. Lord, renew this brother’s mind (Romans 12:2) and fill him with a holy desire to honor You with his body. We pray for accountability and godly friendships to support him in this battle. May he find satisfaction in You alone, for You satisfy the longing soul and fill the hungry soul with goodness (Psalm 107:9).
Heavenly Father, we recognize that all these prayers are only possible because of the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross. It is through His name alone that we have access to You (John 14:6), and there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We thank You for the gift of salvation, available to all who repent and believe in Jesus. If any reading this do not know You as their Lord and Savior, we pray they would turn to You today, confessing their sins and receiving Your forgiveness and eternal life (Romans 10:9-10).
Lord, we ask that You would draw near to this family in a tangible way. Let them feel Your love, hear Your voice, and see Your hand moving in their lives. Strengthen their faith as they wait on You, and help them to trust in Your perfect timing. We declare that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28), and we thank You for the victory that is already theirs in Christ Jesus.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
