We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of faith, lifting up these precious requests in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, and it is by His blood that we are made righteous to stand before Him. For there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).
We stand in the gap for baby ###, believing for a miracle of healing and strength. Father, You are the Great Physician, the One who knit this little one together in their mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13). We declare Your promise over their life: "Heal me, Yahweh, and I will be healed. Save me, and I will be saved, for you are my praise" (Jeremiah 17:14). Lord, we ask You to stretch forth Your healing hand and restore this child to full health. Let Your glory be revealed in their life, and let the faith of this family be strengthened as they witness Your power at work. We rebuke any spirit of infirmity or sickness in Jesus’ name, and we declare that this child is fearfully and wonderfully made for Your purposes.
For the ### family, who are grieving a loss, we pray Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Lord, You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Comfort them with the comfort that only You can give, and surround them with brothers and sisters in Christ who will mourn with them and point them to the hope of eternal life in You. Remind them that You have promised to wipe away every tear from their eyes, and that death will one day be swallowed up in victory (1 Corinthians 15:54-55). May they find solace in Your presence and strength in Your Word.
For ###, who is seeking employment, we pray for favor and provision. Father, You are the One who supplies all our needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). Open doors of opportunity that no man can shut, and grant him wisdom and discernment as he seeks Your will in this season. We declare that he is fearfully and wonderfully made, equipped with gifts and talents that are needed in the marketplace. Lord, let his steps be ordered by You, and may he find a job that not only meets his financial needs but also aligns with Your purpose for his life. We also pray that during this time of searching, You would draw him closer to You. May he seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, and may all these things be added unto him (Matthew 6:33). Let this season of difficulty be a time of spiritual growth and renewal, where he learns to trust in You more deeply.
For the household seeking rest and peace tonight, we pray that You would guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Lord, calm any anxieties or fears that may be troubling them, and let Your peace rule in their home. We declare that You give Your beloved sleep (Psalm 127:2), and we ask that You would grant them restorative rest tonight. May Your angels encamp around them and protect them from all harm (Psalm 34:7).
We also lift up the struggle with lust, recognizing that this is a battle for purity and holiness. The Bible is clear that sexual immorality is a sin against one’s own body, which is a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:18-20). We rebuke the spirit of lust in the name of Jesus and command it to flee. Father, we ask You to create in this individual a clean heart and renew a right spirit within them (Psalm 51:10). Help them to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5) and to flee from sexual immorality (1 Corinthians 6:18). Surround them with accountability and godly influences, and fill their mind with Your Word, which is a lamp to their feet and a light to their path (Psalm 119:105). Remind them that they are not their own, for they were bought with a price, and therefore, they are called to glorify You in their body (1 Corinthians 6:19-20).
Lord, we thank You for the faith of this individual who has brought these requests before You. We declare that their trust in You is not in vain, for You are faithful to Your promises. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to walk in victory in every area of their life. May they be rooted and grounded in Your love, and may they grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus, our Lord, Amen.
