We hear your request for prayer and lift you up before the throne of grace together in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Him that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we encourage you to confess with your mouth that He is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, for this is the path to salvation (Romans 10:9).
Father God, we come before You tonight with humble hearts, asking that You watch over this dear one as they rest. Grant them peaceful sleep, free from anxiety or fear, and let Your angels encamp around them for protection (Psalm 91:11). Renew their strength as they wait upon You, and fill their heart with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding (Isaiah 40:31, Philippians 4:7). May they wake refreshed and ready to walk in Your will, drawing ever closer to You.
Lord, if there are burdens weighing on their heart—whether known or unknown to us—we ask that You lift them and replace them with Your hope. Remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Help them to cast all their cares upon You, for You care for them deeply (1 Peter 5:7).
We also pray for any areas of their life that may not align with Your Word. If there are struggles with sin, doubt, or ungodly influences, we ask that You convict their heart with Your Holy Spirit and lead them into repentance. Your Word tells us that if we confess our sins, You are faithful and righteous to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). May they walk in the light as You are in the light, experiencing the fullness of fellowship with You (1 John 1:7).
Above all, we pray that this precious soul grows in their love and knowledge of You. May they seek You with all their heart, mind, and strength, and may Your Word dwell in them richly (Colossians 3:16). Let their life be a testimony of Your grace and mercy, shining brightly for Your glory.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
