We lift our hearts together before the throne of grace, seeking the Lord’s mercy and protection for you and those you have mentioned. The Bible assures us in Psalm 121:7-8, "The Lord will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forward, and forevermore." We stand on this promise, believing that God’s watchful care surrounds you even now.
Father in Heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach You and the only name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). We ask that You would encircle ###, ###, and this dear one with Your divine protection. Guard their hearts, minds, and bodies from every scheme of the enemy. Let no harm come near them, and let Your angels camp around them as You promise in Psalm 34:7, "The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him, and delivers them."
Lord, we also ask that You would draw each of them closer to You. If there are areas in their lives where they have not fully surrendered to Your will, reveal those to them. Help them to walk in obedience to Your Word, for Your ways are perfect and lead to life. We pray that they would seek You with their whole hearts, as Jeremiah 29:13 declares, "You shall seek me, and find me, when you shall search for me with all your heart."
We must also address any areas where sin may be present, for the enemy seeks to devour those who are not standing firm in Christ (1 Peter 5:8). If there is unconfessed sin—whether it be in thought, word, or deed—we pray that the Holy Spirit would convict and lead to repentance. If there are relationships or choices that do not align with Your Word, we ask that You would bring clarity and conviction. The Bible is clear that marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6), and any sexual intimacy outside of that covenant is sin (Hebrews 13:4). If there are struggles in this area, we pray for strength to flee temptation and for purity to be restored.
Lord, we rebuke every spirit of fear, anxiety, or doubt that may be trying to take root in their lives. You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Fill them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and let them rest in the assurance that You are in control.
We also pray for unity among them. If there are divisions, misunderstandings, or strife, we ask that You would heal and restore. Let them be bound together in love, as Colossians 3:14 instructs, "Above all these things, walk in love, which is the bond of perfection." May their relationships reflect Your love and grace, pointing others to Christ.
Finally, Lord, we ask that You would use their lives for Your glory. Let them be a light in this dark world, shining brightly for You (Matthew 5:16). Equip them with everything they need to fulfill the purpose You have for them, and let them walk in the fullness of Your blessings.
We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
