We lift up your parents before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, trusting in the Great Physician who heals all our diseases. Father God, Your word declares in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." We stand on this promise today, believing that by the stripes of Jesus, healing is already provided (Isaiah 53:5).
For your dear mother struggling with diabetes and this troubling fungal infection in her lungs, we pray for complete restoration. Lord, You know every cell in her body and every breath she takes. We ask for Your healing touch to cleanse her lungs, regulate her blood sugar, and strengthen her immune system. Give her doctors wisdom to provide the right treatment, and surround her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). We rebuke this infection in Jesus' mighty name and command it to leave her body.
For your father's eyesight, we pray for supernatural improvement. Open his eyes to see clearly, both physically and spiritually, as it says in Psalm 146:8, "Yahweh opens the eyes of the blind." We bind every spirit of infirmity causing his headaches and declare that the peace of Christ will guard his mind (2 Thessalonians 3:16). For his urinary tract and blood pressure, we pray for complete healing and balance. Your word says in 3 John 1:2, "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers." We claim this verse over both your parents today.
We must also address the spiritual condition of their health. Have they surrendered their lives to Jesus Christ? For it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" Physical healing is temporary, but spiritual healing through Christ brings eternal life. We pray they would come to know Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior if they haven't already, for this is the foundation of all true healing.
Lord, we ask that You would strengthen their faith as they wait on You. Remind them of Your faithfulness through Your word, like in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." May they find comfort in Your presence and hope in Your promises. We also pray for you, their child, that You would give you strength, wisdom, and peace as you care for them. Help you to trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6).
We declare that by His wounds, they are healed (1 Peter 2:24), and we thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
