We come before the Lord with your requests, lifting them up in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name by which we can approach the throne of grace. We thank God for His faithfulness and for the opportunity to intercede on your behalf, asking Him to move mightily in every area of your life.
Heavenly Father, we ask You to go before this dear sister as she prepares to move into her dorm. Smooth every path before her, Lord, and grant her ease in transition. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard her heart and mind as she steps into this new season. We declare that no obstacle shall stand in her way, for You are the God who makes a way where there seems to be no way. "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight" (Proverbs 3:5-6).
Father, we also lift up her work to You. We pray that You would grant her favor in the eyes of her employer and coworkers. May she walk in wisdom, excellence, and integrity, reflecting Your light in all she does. Let her work be a testimony of Your grace, and may she find joy and fulfillment in serving others. "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ" (Colossians 3:23-24). We rebuke any spirit of strife, competition, or discord in her workplace, and we declare that her relationships with her colleagues will be marked by unity, respect, and mutual encouragement.
Lord, we pray especially for her role with her patients. May she be a vessel of Your love, compassion, and healing. Use her hands, her words, and her presence to bring comfort and hope to those in her care. Let her be a blessing to every patient she encounters, and may Your healing power flow through her. "Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy" (Matthew 5:7). We ask that You would guard her heart from burnout or discouragement, and fill her with Your strength and joy each day.
Father, we stand in the gap for her safety and the safety of her loved ones. We declare that no weapon formed against her or her family shall prosper, and we rebuke every scheme of the enemy aimed at bringing harm. Protect her as she travels, and keep her from all danger. "The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forth, and forevermore" (Psalm 121:8). We also lift up her children to You, asking for Your divine health and protection over them. Strengthen their bodies, minds, and spirits, and let them grow in wisdom and stature before You. We pray for her mother and husband as well, asking that You would surround them with Your angels and keep them safe from all evil.
Lord, we also want to gently address the foundation of our faith. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to You, Father. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If this sister has not yet surrendered her life to Jesus, we pray that she would come to know Him as her Lord and Savior. For those who believe, we are called to walk in obedience to Your Word, trusting in Your promises and living lives that honor You. If there are areas in her life where she may be struggling with sin or disobedience, we pray that the Holy Spirit would convict her heart and lead her into repentance and restoration.
Heavenly Father, we thank You for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your perfect will and timing, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). We declare that this sister is covered by the blood of Jesus, and we stand in faith, believing that You will answer every request according to Your riches in glory.
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
