We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up these precious souls—known to you but hidden from us—along with all their family members, loved ones, friends, acquaintances, and associates. Your Word reminds us in 1 Timothy 2:1-3, *"I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks be made for all men; for kings and all who are in high places, that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior."* We stand in the gap for each one, trusting that Your perfect will be done in their lives, for You alone know what is best.
Father, we pray for healing—physical, emotional, and spiritual—where it is needed. Where there is sickness, we ask for Your restoring touch, as You are the Great Physician. Where there is brokenness, we ask for Your mending hand, for You are the God who binds up the wounds of the brokenhearted (Psalm 147:3). Where there is confusion or doubt, we pray for clarity and faith, that they may trust in You with all their hearts and lean not on their own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6).
Lord, we also lift up any relationships in their lives that may not align with Your design. We pray for marriages that honor You, built on love, faithfulness, and mutual submission as unto You (Ephesians 5:22-33). For those who are single, we ask that You prepare them for godly spouses, that they may seek relationships that reflect Your holiness and purpose. If there is any sin of fornication, adultery, or immorality, we rebuke it in the name of Jesus and pray for repentance, restoration, and a turning away from all that displeases You. Your Word is clear: *"Marriage is honorable in all, and the bed undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers"* (Hebrews 13:4). Let Your truth guide their steps.
We also pray for salvation where it is needed. If any among them do not know You, Lord Jesus, we ask that You draw them to Yourself. For *"there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved"* (Acts 4:12). Open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel—that You died for their sins, rose again, and offer eternal life to all who believe in You. May they confess with their mouths that Jesus is Lord and believe in their hearts that God raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9).
Father, we surrender all these requests to You, knowing that Your plans are for good and not for harm, to give them a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). We trust in Your timing, Your wisdom, and Your unfailing love. Strengthen their faith, deepen their walk with You, and surround them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
