We come before the throne of grace with your heartfelt requests, lifting them up in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. It is only through Him that we have access to the Father, and it is by His name alone that we are saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." We pray that you know Jesus as your personal Savior and that your life is hidden in Him.
Father God, we thank You for the work You have entrusted to this dear one. We ask that You bless the works of their hands as they prepare to serve their patients on Saturday. May Your healing touch be upon each person they encounter, and may their skills and knowledge be used for Your glory. Lord, we pray that You would grant them favor in the eyes of their employer, that they would see the dedication and excellence You have placed within them. As Proverbs 3:4 says, "So you will find favor, and good understanding in the sight of God and man."
We also lift up their relationships with their coworkers. Father, we ask that You would fill their workplace with unity, peace, and mutual respect. Help them to be a light for You, showing kindness, patience, and love to those around them. May their actions and words reflect Your love, as it is written in Colossians 3:23, "And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men."
Lord, we know that financial provision is a concern, and we ask that You would open the windows of heaven and pour out blessings upon this one. Help them to reach and exceed their sales targets so that they may honor their debts and provide for their family. We trust in Your promise in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." But we also remind them that their true treasure is in heaven, and we pray that they seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, knowing that all these things will be added unto them (Matthew 6:33).
We lift up their mother before You, Father. We ask that You would grant her strength, comfort, and good health in her old age. Help this one to honor their mother with love, patience, and care, as You command in Exodus 20:12, "Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land which Yahweh your God gives you." May their home be filled with Your peace and joy as they care for her.
Father, we also bring their children before You. We ask that You would place Your hedge of protection around them, keeping them safe from all harm and danger. May they grow in wisdom and stature and in favor with You and man, just as Jesus did (Luke 2:52). We pray that they would come to know You as their Lord and Savior and walk in Your ways all the days of their lives.
Lord, we ask that You would grant this one good health and strength. Protect them from illness, accidents, and any form of danger. May they walk in divine health, trusting in Your promise in 3 John 1:2, "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers."
We rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or doubt that may be trying to take root in their heart. We declare that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37). We pray that they would cast all their cares upon You, knowing that You care for them (1 Peter 5:7). Help them to trust in You with all their heart and lean not on their own understanding, acknowledging You in all their ways so that You may direct their paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).
Father, we also pray for their spiritual growth. May they draw nearer to You each day, spending time in Your Word and in prayer. Help them to walk in the Spirit and not fulfill the lusts of the flesh (Galatians 5:16). May they be a shining light in this dark world, pointing others to Jesus.
We pray all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.
