We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation to our Heavenly Father. First, we thank God for the gift of His Son, Jesus Christ, through whom we have redemption and access to the Father. It is only through Jesus that we can approach God with confidence, as Hebrews 4:16 tells us, "Let us therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need."
We stand with you in this time of distress caused by the fraud that has impacted your family. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke the spirit of deception and fraud in the mighty name of Jesus and declare that no weapon formed against your family shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Father, we ask You to expose every hidden thing and bring justice to this situation. Grant wisdom and favor as you navigate this trial, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We pray for restoration and reward for your family. You are a God who restores what the locusts have eaten (Joel 2:25), and we trust that You will turn this situation around for your good and His glory. We also lift up your job and financial needs. Father, You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider (Genesis 22:14). Open the windows of heaven and pour out blessings upon this family so that there will not be room enough to receive it (Malachi 3:10). Give favor in the workplace and guide every decision made in these coming weeks.
We lift up ### to You, Lord, asking that You would draw near to them in this time. You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Provide them with a new job that aligns with Your will, and surround them with a community of believers who will support and encourage them. We pray that they would grow in the knowledge of You, that their faith would be strengthened, and that they would come to know You as their Lord and Savior if they have not already. Father, let Your Word be a lamp to their feet and a light to their path (Psalm 119:105).
Lastly, we lift up your co-worker ### and their family as they grieve the loss of both grandparents. Lord, we ask that You would comfort them with Your love. Your Word tells us that blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted (Matthew 5:4). Wrap Your arms around them, Father, and let them feel Your presence in this difficult time. Provide them with the support they need, and use this season to draw them closer to You.
Heavenly Father, we come together in agreement, believing that You hear our prayers and will answer according to Your perfect will. Strengthen this family’s trust in You, Lord, for You are faithful and true. Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, because You care for them (1 Peter 5:7). We declare that this family will not be shaken, for the Lord is their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
In the precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
