We rejoice with you in the victory the Lord has given you over this disturbance in your neighborhood! It is truly a blessing when authorities uphold justice and peace, and we give all glory to God for intervening on your behalf. The scriptures remind us in Psalm 34:17-19, "The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all."
We are deeply concerned, however, about the spiritual warfare you are enduring through this neighbor’s alleged use of black magic. The Bible is clear that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places (Ephesians 6:12). We must stand firm in the armor of God—truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God—resisting the enemy in the name of Jesus Christ, who has already triumphed over all darkness (Colossians 2:15).
We rebuke any demonic influence or curse directed at you in the mighty name of Jesus. The blood of Jesus has broken every chain, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We declare that the Lord will expose every hidden work of darkness and bring it to nothing. We pray that this neighbor would be convicted by the Holy Spirit, that her eyes would be opened to the truth of the gospel, and that she would repent and turn to Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. The Lord desires that none should perish but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9), and we stand in agreement with His will for her salvation.
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith, lifting up our brothers and sisters who have endured years of spiritual attack. We thank You for Your protection and deliverance thus far. Lord, we ask that You break every chain of darkness that has been directed toward them. Let Your light shine into the heart of this neighbor, that she may see the emptiness of her ways and turn to You. Father, we declare that no weapon formed against Your children shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn. We stand on the promise that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Surround them with Your angels, Lord, and let Your peace guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
We also pray for wisdom and discernment for them as they navigate this situation. Give them boldness to speak the truth in love and to extend grace even in the face of persecution. May their lives be a testimony of Your power and love, drawing others—including this neighbor—to You. We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the name above all names, the only name by which we are saved and through which we have access to the Father. Amen.
Continue to stand firm in faith, knowing that the battle is the Lord’s. Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9). Walk in the authority you have in Christ, and trust that He who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ (Philippians 1:6).
Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have.
