We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, yet full of faith, lifting up this situation to our Heavenly Father. First, we thank God for the precious gift of His Son, Jesus Christ, through whom we have redemption and access to the Father. Your acknowledgment of Jesus in your prayer is a beautiful reminder that it is only through Him that we can approach God with confidence (Hebrews 4:16). There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and we rejoice that you have placed your trust in Him.
Father, we stand in the gap for this family who has been struck by fraud. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but You came that we might have life abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke the spirit of deception and financial bondage in Jesus’ name. Lord, we ask that You expose every hidden scheme of the enemy and bring justice to this situation. You are a God of restoration, and we declare that what was meant for harm, You will turn for good (Genesis 50:20). We pray for favor in the legal and financial processes ahead, that doors would be opened that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). Strengthen this family’s trust in You, Lord, for You are their Provider and their Shield (Psalm 3:3). Remind them that their security is not in earthly wealth but in Your unfailing love (Psalm 62:10).
We also lift up the request for favor in the workplace. Father, we ask that You grant wisdom, diligence, and opportunities for advancement. Let Your favor rest upon this individual like a shield (Psalm 5:12), and may their work be a testimony to Your glory. We pray for financial provision, that You would open the windows of heaven and pour out blessings that cannot be contained (Malachi 3:10). Remind them that You are Jehovah Jireh, the Lord who provides (Genesis 22:14), and that You will never leave nor forsake them (Hebrews 13:5).
For ###, we pray for a new job that aligns with Your purpose and provides stability. We ask that You guide their steps and lead them to the right opportunity (Proverbs 3:6). Father, we also pray for their spiritual growth. Draw them closer to You, Lord, and let them know the depth of Your love. May they seek You with all their heart and find You (Jeremiah 29:13). Surround them with godly influences who will encourage them in their faith.
We lift up the co-worker who is grieving the loss of both grandparents. Father, we ask that You wrap Your arms around this family in their time of sorrow. You are the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our afflictions (2 Corinthians 1:3-4). Bring healing to their hearts and remind them that You are close to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). Let them feel Your presence in tangible ways, and may they find hope in the promise of eternal life through Jesus Christ.
Lord, we also pray for rest and peace for this family. The enemy would love to see them overwhelmed by anxiety and fear, but we declare that You have not given them a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We ask that You quiet their hearts and minds with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Let them lie down and sleep in peace, for You alone make them dwell in safety (Psalm 4:8).
Father, we ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, who intercedes for us at Your right hand (Romans 8:34). We trust in Your goodness and Your perfect timing. Strengthen this family’s faith, Lord, and let them see Your hand at work in every area of their lives. We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that You will turn their mourning into dancing (Psalm 30:11). May they grow in their trust in You, knowing that You are faithful to complete the good work You have begun in them (Philippians 1:6). In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
