First, let us affirm the importance of seeking God’s presence in all things. You asked the Lord Jesus to *"stay always with us,"* and we declare over you the promise of His abiding presence: *"Behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age"* (Matthew 28:20, WEB). This world is temporary, but His promises are everlasting. *"Don’t lay up treasures for yourselves on the earth, where moth and rust consume, and where thieves break through and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust consume, and where thieves don’t break through and steal; for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also"* (Matthew 6:19-21, WEB). May your heart remain steadfast in Him, no matter the circumstances.
