Dear Heavenly Father, I come to you in Jesus name to ask for forgiveness of all of my wrong doings. I ask that you have mercy on me for the times I have been weak and acted worldly. I also ask that ### forgive me for the things that I have done wrong in our relationship. I ask that I can have peace during the hard times. Please cleanse his mind of anything that is driving us apart. Please remove the frustrations, anger, bitterness, and division between us. During this time I ask that you draw near to me and hold on to me giving me the peace and comfort through each day. I am a mother and still have to get through each day. I do not want this to take my Joy. I want to find peace during the storm. I know you brought ### into my life for a reason. I can’t seem to let go of our relationship. I still love him with all of my heart. In the name of Jesus I am asking you to bring him back to me. Lead him back into my arms. Let him have eyes for no other woman. The bible says no good thing you will be withheld from those who serve you for if I ask for bread you will not give me a stone. The devil is a liar and cannot steal my family from me. I am claiming in the name of Jesus that ### will come back to me, his heart will soften and be filled with love and understanding for me, and our relationship will be restored in the name of Jesus. Please lead and guide ### and both. Give us clarity, forgiveness, & an open heart. Please reveal my own faults. I am asking for a transformation and claiming it in Jesus name. I am asking in Jesus name for full healing and reconciliation in me, ###, & our relationship and claiming in Jesus name. In Jesus name I ask that we are both able to see each other’s worth, and the love is mutual between us both. Lead us both away from temptation. Heavenly Father I ask that you make a way when there is no way. I ask that you give me and ### both the tools that we need to fix what is broken. You have changed hearts of kings. This is not the end to our relationship, but a new beginning. God I need you in our relationship and in my personal life. Please bring Godly people in his life to encourage and guide him back to me when I can’t speak to him. I plead the blood of Jesus around ### and I plead the blood of Jesus against any demons who are trying to get in the middle of this. I am claiming in Jesus name that his heart is open, & he is willing to restore our relationship. I am asking in Jesus name that he does not leave but we work through this. I am claiming in Jesus name that we work through this and he does not leave. Please touch his mind and spirit, lifting the burden of depression and replacing it with Your joy and hope for the both of us. Help him process his pain that brings growth and healing, rather than blame or hurt. Let my love penetrate his heart and remind him of his worth and purpose on You Lord. I ask that his heart desires to love me and wants to be with me Lord. I am asking for unity Lord. Gracious Heavenly Father, I come before You today, seeking Your divine intervention in mending broken our broken relationship. I ask that today be a break through in our relationship, Lord. I’m claiming today is a break through in our relationship. Father, we thank you that restoration is from your heart. And I declare restore, in mine and ###’s life and our relationship. I ask that ### no longer wants to go separate ways and his heart desires to be with me, marry me, & spend the rest of our lives on this earth together. I ask that we both have wisdom to communicate, patience to listen, and a heart of forgiveness for each other. I ask that he longer rejects my love and peace offering. In Jesus name I pray, trust, & believe in Your works. Today is the day of breakthrough in our relationship. Amen

We hear the deep longing in your heart for reconciliation and restoration, and we join you in lifting this burden to the Lord, who is mighty to save and heal. Your prayer is earnest, and we commend you for seeking God’s face in this trial. Yet as we intercede, we must first address a matter that weighs heavily on our spirits—one that must be brought into the light for true healing to occur.

The Scriptures are clear that marriage is a sacred covenant before God, designed as a lifelong union between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6). Outside of this covenant, relationships—no matter how deeply felt—are not aligned with God’s perfect will. Your prayer reveals that you and this man are not married, yet you speak of love, unity, and even a future marriage as if it is already ordained. Beloved, we must gently but firmly remind you that God’s Word calls us to purity and holiness in our relationships. If there has been physical intimacy outside of marriage, this is fornication, and it grieves the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:18-20, 1 Thessalonians 4:3-5). The Lord cannot bless what He has not joined together. If this is the case, repentance is necessary—not just for the sake of reconciliation with this man, but first and foremost for reconciliation with God.

You also mention that you “can’t seem to let go” of this relationship, and your heart is fixed on him returning to you. While your love is understandable, we must ask: Is your trust fully in the Lord, or is this man becoming an idol in your heart? The Bible warns us not to place our hope in human relationships above God (Jeremiah 17:5-8). Jesus must be your first love (Revelation 2:4), and your peace must come from Him alone, not from the restoration of this relationship. If God’s will is for this man to return, it must be in a way that honors Him—through godly courtship leading to marriage, not through emotional or physical ties that bind outside of His design.

We also notice that you speak of “claiming” this man and this relationship in Jesus’ name, as if it is already yours to possess. While it is right to pray boldly, we must submit our desires to the Lord’s sovereignty. James 4:13-15 reminds us that we do not know what tomorrow holds, and our plans must be surrendered to God’s will. Instead of “claiming” this man, we encourage you to pray, *“Lord, if it is Your will, restore this relationship in a way that honors You. But if it is not, give me the strength to release him and trust You completely.”* God’s ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9), and His plans for you are good—even if they look different from what you imagine.

Now, let us pray together for you, for this man, and for the glory of God to be revealed in this situation.

**Prayer:**

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our sister, who is hurting and longing for restoration. Lord, You see her heart—her love, her pain, and her desire for unity. But more than anything, You desire her holiness and her complete surrender to You. We ask that You first draw her closer to Yourself, that she may find her peace, joy, and identity in You alone, not in this man or this relationship.

Father, if there has been sin in this relationship—whether fornication, emotional idolatry, or any other transgression—we ask for Your conviction and cleansing. *“Create in [her] a clean heart, O God. Renew a right spirit within [her]”* (Psalm 51:10). Give her the courage to repent where needed and the strength to walk in purity, even if it means letting go of this man. Remind her that Your grace is sufficient, and Your mercy is new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23).

Lord, we lift up this man before You. If he does not know You, we pray that You would reveal Yourself to him in a powerful way, that he may come to saving faith in Jesus Christ. If he is a believer but walking in disobedience, we ask that You convict him and draw him back to You. Softening his heart is Your work, not ours (Ezekiel 36:26). We pray that if it is Your will, You would restore this relationship in a way that honors You—through godly courtship leading to a Christ-centered marriage. But if it is not Your will, we ask that You give our sister the grace to release him and trust You with her future.

Father, we rebuke any spiritual strongholds in this situation—any lies of the enemy that say her worth is tied to this man, any bitterness or unforgiveness, any ungodly soul ties that need to be broken. We declare that *“no weapon formed against [her] shall prosper”* (Isaiah 54:17), but we also declare that Your will, not hers, must prevail. Give her wisdom to see this situation through Your eyes, not her emotions. Fill her with Your peace that surpasses understanding (Philippians 4:6-7), and remind her that You are her Provider, her Comforter, and her Hope.

For her children, Lord, we ask that You protect their hearts and minds during this time. Give her the strength to be the mother they need, filled with Your love and joy, regardless of the outcome of this relationship. Let her home be a place of peace, not turmoil.

Finally, Father, we ask that You make Your will undeniably clear. If this relationship is to be restored, let it be done in Your timing and Your way, with both of them fully submitted to You. If it is not to be, give her the grace to surrender it to You and trust that You have something better. *“Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart”* (Psalm 37:4)—not because we demand it, but because our desires align with His.

We pray all these things in the mighty and holy name of Jesus, who is the Author and Perfecter of our faith. Amen.

Beloved sister, we want to encourage you with this truth: God’s love for you is deeper than any human love. His plans for you are for good, not for harm (Jeremiah 29:11). If this man is the one God has for you, no power of hell can stop what the Lord has ordained. But if he is not, clinging to him will only bring more pain. Trust that God’s “no” is just as loving as His “yes.”

We urge you to seek godly counsel—perhaps from a pastor or mature believer who can walk with you through this. Surround yourself with brothers and sisters in Christ who will speak truth into your life, not just what you want to hear. And above all, immerse yourself in the Word of God. Let it be your guide, your comfort, and your correction.

*“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make straight your paths”* (Proverbs 3:5-6). He is faithful, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Keep seeking Him, and He will lead you into all truth.

Dear friend,

We hear your heart's cry for unity and restoration, and we stand with you in prayer, believing that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). We join you in asking God to heal and mend what is broken in your relationship.

As you seek God's face in this trial, we want to encourage you with these words from the Lord: "I will restore to you the years that the locust has eaten" (Joel 2:25). Trust that even in the midst of this pain, God is at work, restoring and making all things new.

We also want to remind you of the power of forgiveness. As it is written, "Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you" (Colossians 3:13). Let go of any bitterness or resentment, and choose to forgive as you have been forgiven.

Lastly, we want to encourage you to keep seeking God's will above your own. As Jesus said, "Not my will, but yours be done" (Luke 22:42). Trust that God's plans for you are good, even if they don't align with your current desires.
